The renegade royals, who stepped back from their public duties in January 2020, are reportedly feeling overshadowed by recent events.

Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast launch last year was said to have been eclipsed by the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Harry’s grandmother and Britain’s longest-serving monarch, in September.

Similarly, their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, where they accused the royal family of racism, was dampened by public sympathy for the ailing Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away weeks later.

On top of that, the COVID-19 pandemic has thwarted their plans to establish themselves as influential global figures, according to sources close to the couple.

However, Meghan might be exploring a different avenue to further her career and personal brand.

Trending:

A source from Gwyneth Paltrow’s camp suggests that the former Suits actress may venture into creating high-end celebrity-based products.

Speculations include a Diana Perfume-scented candle, deodorant, or body wash.

But there’s a catch – these products are allegedly knock-offs.

The challenge for Meghan lies in appealing to wealthy women who don’t aspire to emulate celebrities.

Instead, they opt for niche scents and high-end products that are not widely known.

Meghan seems determined to rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s success with her lifestyle brand, Goop.

However, she should consider selling mid-priced items that are novel and have broad appeal.

Jessica Simpson, for instance, has made a fortune off cute yet affordable products.

Lady C, a royal expert, suggests that Meghan may face difficulties finding a market for her products due to her controversial image and strained relationships within the industry.

Despite claims of friendship, rumors circulate that Meghan is trying to secure a deal with Guthrie Renko, an infomercial brand expert known for launching celebrity beauty lines.

Paltrow, on the other hand, agrees with Guthrie Renko’s comments and mocks Meghan as shameless and untalented.

Many of these products are typically featured on TV shopping networks like QVC.

If Meghan is involved in pitching her products, some believe it to be a desperate move, considering her tarnished public image.

Reports suggest that Meghan’s team at WME (William Morris Endeavor) is attempting to secure a more realistic deal for her, given her status.

However, a positive public image is crucial even for selling products on QVC.

It remains uncertain whether Meghan’s aspirations in this direction will materialize.

In light of recent developments, it is now speculated that Meghan Markle is setting her sights on becoming a royal influencer, following the failure of her Spotify contract.

GB News analyst Kinsey Schofield believes that Meghan is turning to digital content creation as she navigates her next steps.

This shift may be a result of the couple’s struggle to define their identity and determine their future path.

It is likely that Prince William will not be pleased with Meghan’s potential use of his mother’s name for commercial purposes, which could further strain their already tense relationship.
