Members of the royal family have confirmed that Meghan Markle will not be attending King Charles’ coronation, which is set to take place on May 6th this year.

The British public has been eagerly anticipating this historic event, coincidentally falling on Archie’s fourth birthday.

However, insiders close to the royal family have revealed that Meghan intends to use the excuse of looking after her children, Archie and Little Bit, to decline the invitation and avoid any potential backlash from the public.

The recent tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family have made Meghan cautious about attending the event, fearing awkward confrontations.

Although it is believed that many in the royal household expect Prince Harry to attend the coronation, regardless of Meghan’s decision, her absence would undoubtedly leave a noticeable gap.

Trending:

A recent poll conducted by Redfield and Wilton Strategies for Mail Online showed mixed opinions among the British public regarding the Sussexes’ presence at the ceremony.

While 47% were in favor of Charles inviting the couple, 36% opposed the idea.

The poll also indicated that fewer people were keen on Meghan attending, with 43% suggesting she should stay home.

In addition, the poll revealed that most Brits do not want Prince Andrew to attend, with only 26% in favor of his presence.

These findings highlight the complexities surrounding the guest list for the coronation.

In a report by the Times, it was disclosed that Prince Harry insists on receiving a private apology from King Charles and his brother, the Prince of Wales, before considering attending the coronation.

Tensions between the two sides have escalated since the publication of Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” and a series of TV interviews to promote the book.

However, a source close to the royal family has stated that they do not believe an apology is owed, as they do not recognize Harry’s version of events.

The invitations to the coronation will be sent out in two weeks’ time, leaving many curious about the Sussexes’ plans.

Omid Scobie, a reporter with connections to the couple, has claimed that their intentions are currently unknown.

Until they receive an invitation and have a clear itinerary, no decisions can be made.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has announced an intimate live stream event on March 5th at 5pm GMT to promote his book.

During this event, hosted by the book’s publisher, Penguin Random House, the Duke of Sussex will discuss topics such as living with loss and the importance of personal healing.

As the public eagerly awaits news of the attendees for King Charles’ coronation, speculation continues regarding Meghan’s potential appearance.

Her presence or absence will undoubtedly have an impact on the event.
