Meghan demands evidence in Buckingham Palace bullying probe
According to The Mail on Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex has written to Buckingham Palace requesting any papers, emails, or text messages related to the bullying allegation against her.
Both parties in the bullying dispute seem to be seeking legal counsel.
The palace enlisted the help of an outside legal firm to look into the accusations leveled against the Duchess.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the former “Suits” actress and lapsed royal is putting up her own legal team to combat what a source on her side describes as a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation.”
A top Buckingham Palace staffer accused her of ‘unacceptable behavior’ toward two personal aides and eroding the trust of a third.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly brought employees to tears.
Former advisers to Markle and Prince Harry are keen to assist with the investigation authorized by the queen.
According to the Times, a royal assistant told a colleague, “I can’t stop shaking” as they prepared for a showdown with the Duchess.
Several former and present royal aides are likely to appear before the investigation, including some who were unable to testify in court during Meghan Markle’s recent privacy battle against a British publication.
The allegation initially surfaced earlier this month when an email written by Jason Knauf, the couple’s former press secretary, was leaked to The Times.
Meghan’s allegation goes back to October 2018. The email was sent to HR, but the issue was never followed up on.
‘I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X [Name redacted] was totally unacceptable,’ Mr Knauf wrote in October 2018.
‘The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behaviour towards Y.’
Buckingham Palace first said that it will conduct its own investigation into the Duchess; however, it now seems that the palace is intent on an independent investigation.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman stated, “Our commitment to look into the circumstances around the allegations from former staff of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is being taken forward but we will not be providing a public commentary on it.”
Meghan and Harry’s CBS special with Oprah was the couple’s first joint interview since their permanent departure from the royal family. The couple explained the reasons for their decision to stand down from their royal responsibilities, which they originally announced in January 2020.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made startling allegations about the lack of mental health assistance provided to a suicidal Meghan and an unidentified third party during the interview, which made headlines.
