King’s Men with Axes Free William and Harry’s Former Tutor Stuck in Bathroom
In a hilarious and embarrassing incident, former Cabinet Minister Rory Stewart recounts a terrifying experience he had while working as a tutor for Prince William and Prince Harry.

Feeling terrified at his first proper job, Stewart had to confess to the king that he had locked himself in the bathroom.
The prince advised him to turn the key in the lock, but Stewart ended up unscrewing the key from the hole instead.
Stewart admitted his embarrassment, saying, “I let this thing go.
I look around and say, ‘I’m so sorry, sir.'”
King Charles, referring to the late hour, asked if Stewart suggested waking up the entire house to break down the door.
In a stroke of panic, Stewart realized that he was actually in Highgrove House’s panic room, surrounded by instructions on how to handle emergencies.
Eventually, the door was opened after the sound of axes attacking it could be heard.
Stewart peered through the door to see the Prince of Wales in a gown, directing a group of people armed with weapons.
The next morning, Stewart became the subject of laughter at the breakfast table.
