King Charles III has reportedly expelled Angela Kelly, Queen Elizabeth II’s trusted aide, from his family estate following the death of his mother.

According to journalist Valentine Lowe’s book “The Courtiers,” Kelly had expected to be allowed to remain in a cottage in Windsor Home Park after the passing of her longtime best friend.

However, Charles allegedly instructed that she should not reside on the property.

Angela Kelly, 65, began working as the Queen’s dresser in 1994, overseeing the King’s attire, jewelry, and insignia.

Over time, her responsibilities expanded, and during the late Queen’s final years, no one was closer to her outside of immediate family than Kelly.

In addition to her official title as personal assistant, advisor, and curator to Her Majesty, she served as a confidante and caretaker for the Queen.

While long-serving staff members of the Royal Family are typically provided with Grace and Favour Homes on the Royal Estate, it became apparent shortly after the Queen’s death that Kelly would not be granted this privilege, despite her loyalty.

Negotiations ensued, suggesting that the King would purchase a house near Sheffield, England, for Kelly to be closer to her grandchildren.

However, the property will ultimately revert to the Crown upon the former aide’s demise.

According to a source cited by Lowe, the King did not wish to see Kelly homeless, despite not wanting to live in close proximity to her.

It is worth noting that Angela Kelly had expressed deep sorrow following the Queen’s passing, sharing her sentiments on social media.

She also recently posted on Instagram about her upcoming move to a new home, expressing her excitement about finally having a place to call her own.

Kelly’s relationship with the palace has not been without controversy.

Prior to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018, she had a heated altercation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In his memoir, “Spare,” Prince Harry claimed that Kelly attempted to prevent Meghan from wearing the tiara she had initially chosen from the Queen’s private collection.

This incident caused significant tension between the parties involved.

In conclusion, King Charles III has allegedly forced Angela Kelly, Queen Elizabeth II’s trusted assistant, out of his family estate following the Queen’s demise.

Despite her close bond with the late monarch, Kelly will not be granted a Grace and Favour Home and will instead be relocated to a house in Yorkshire, England, which will ultimately belong to the Crown.

While controversial at times, Kelly played a vital role in the Queen’s life as her confidante and caretaker.
