In a recent interview, Angela Ripon, the popular presenter of GB News, expressed her belief that King Charles has been deeply affected by his fragile relationship with his son, Prince Harry.

As the coronation approaches, tensions between the two have become increasingly evident, especially with the absence of Meghan Markle.

Ripon suggested that Harry’s public statements about his family members, including his brother, sister-in-law, and even his own father, have had a detrimental impact on Charles.

Despite this, Ripon acknowledged that Charles still loves his son.

Ripon’s comments came during an explosive interview on 7NEWS Spotlight with Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father.

Samantha, Meghan’s sister, expressed her frustration, claiming that Meghan and Harry’s relationship is toxic and unhealthy.

Thomas Jr., Harry’s half-brother, also chimed in, stating that the family will not go away and urging Meghan to reconcile with them.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Prince Harry is planning to return to the US shortly after his father’s coronation ends, as he wants to celebrate his son Archie’s birthday with his family.

It has been confirmed that Meghan will not be accompanying him on this trip.

According to insiders, Harry will spend only 24 hours in the UK, leaving after the coronation service at Westminster Abbey, which is expected to conclude around 1pm.

Speculation suggests that he may depart via private jet to California.

Although Harry has been tight-lipped about his travel plans, a source revealed that his visit for the coronation was always intended to be brief.

Unfortunately, this means he will not be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal family, which is a great disappointment.

Nevertheless, his decision to attend the coronation has reportedly brought joy to King Charles.

The rift between Prince Harry and King Charles appears to have subsided following the Queen’s passing.

Both father and son have made gestures showing mutual respect since her death.

It will ultimately be Charles’ decision whether Archie and Lilibet receive Royal titles.

In a statement last year, Harry disclosed his strained relationship with his father, attributing it to his and Meghan’s withdrawal from Royal duties.

He mentioned that Charles had stopped taking his calls and cut off his financial support.

However, during the morning period for the Queen, Charles emphasized his love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to forge their own path.

As Charles was officially sworn in as King, he used an ink pot gifted by both Harry and William, symbolizing unity and reconciliation.

In return, Harry paid tribute to his father in a statement following the Queen’s passing, highlighting their cherished moments together.

With their relationship seemingly on more solid ground, many hope that Charles will grant Harry’s request for his son to have a Royal title.
