Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have been attending Lambrook School near their home in Adelaide Cottage, where they have been receiving a nurturing education from their parents.

However, as Prince George approaches his 10th birthday in July, Prince William and Princess Kate are faced with an important decision regarding their children’s education.

The Royal Family has a tradition of sending their children to boarding school for their secondary education, which some experts believe would be a sad outcome.

Both Prince William and Princess Kate have personal experience with boarding schools, having attended Eton College and Marlborough College, respectively.

Other members of the royal family, including King Charles, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, also attended boarding schools such as Gordon Stone in Scotland.

Recently, the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen taking Prince George on a tour of Eton, suggesting that he may follow in his father’s footsteps.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jenny Bond shared her thoughts on the matter, stating, “The choice of school for the children will tell us a lot about William and Catherine.

So far, they’ve been very hands-on parents, and personally, I think it would be sad to see them send their children away to a boarding school.

I would like to commend the decision to keep them as day students at schools close to their home.

But I think William and Catherine were happy at boarding school.

I suppose that’s what they know, and they probably want to pass on this experience to their children.

I imagine it will be all or nothing, in other words, all three of them will go to school, or none of them will go.

I would cheer out loud if they decided to keep their kids close and take care of them through their adolescence as they did during their younger years.”

If Prince George and Prince Louis follow in their father’s footsteps and attend Eton, the question arises as to where Princess Charlotte will continue her secondary education.

One possibility is St. Mary’s School in Ascot, where William’s cousin, Lady Louise Windsor, attended.

Another option for Princess Kate is Marlborough College in Wiltshire, where she was a popular student and excelled academically.

Notable alumni of Marlborough College with royal ties include Princess Beatrice and Emerald Fennell, the Oscar-winning screenwriter and actor known for her role as Queen Camilla in seasons three and four of The Crown.

As Kate and William make this important decision about their children’s education, it remains to be seen whether they will choose to keep them close to home or send them off to boarding school.
