Former butler of Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, is contemplating suing Prince Harry for defamation following accusations made during the phone hacking trial against MGM.

Burrell vehemently denies the claims made by Harry, stating that they are completely untrue.

In an interview with GB News host Dan Wooten, Burrell expressed his frustration, questioning Harry’s right to make defamatory statements about him in a court of law.

Burrell, 65, also described the Duke of Sussex as privileged and petulant.

He asserted that while Harry may be a privileged young man, he too has the right to defend himself.

During his appearance on GB News, Burrell revealed that he is considering taking legal action against Harry based on comments made in his witness statement.

He emphasized the importance of accurate information in a court of law, stating that Harry’s claim of him selling Princess Diana’s possessions is completely false.

In an attempt to seek clarification, Burrell shared that he has written three letters to Harry’s solicitors, urging them to provide evidence to support the claims made against him.

He expressed his disappointment in not receiving a response and reiterated his right to challenge these defamatory and false statements.

Burrell questioned the credibility of Harry’s witness statement, highlighting that if one aspect is untrue, it raises doubts about the accuracy of the entire statement.

When asked directly about pursuing legal action if he does not receive a retraction from Harry, Burrell affirmed his willingness to take the matter further, as his reputation is at stake.

He demanded an apology from Prince Harry for the accusations made against him.

This legal dispute between Burrell and Harry emerged during the latter’s testimony in his lawsuit against Mary Group newspapers.

In court, Harry admitted to calling Burrell a two-faced expletive and accusing him of selling Princess Diana’s possessions in a voicemail to his brother, Prince William, back in 2003.

Harry expressed his strong feelings about Burrell’s indiscretion in selling their mother’s possessions and giving numerous interviews.

Burrell now urges Harry to retract his claims as he continues to testify in his lawsuit against the UK newspaper conglomerate.

The former butler seeks resolution and an end to the defamatory statements made against him.

The ongoing legal battle sheds light on the strained relationship between Prince Harry and those who were once close to Princess Diana.

As the trial progresses, the public eagerly awaits further developments and potential resolutions to this tumultuous dispute.
