Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have been bestowed with new titles and a massive inheritance following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The couple has been promoted to the roles of Prince and Princess of Wales, along with being given the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall titles.

With these new job titles, they have become instant billionaires.

The passing of Her Majesty on September 8 marked the immediate ascension of her son, Prince Charles, to the position of Head of State.

He was crowned King Charles III and in turn, his previous title of Prince of Wales became vacant.

Prince Charles announced that his son, William, would take on the prestigious role of Prince of Wales.

Additionally, he declared that his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, would assume the title of Princess of Wales, a position left vacant since the tragic death of Princess Diana in 1997.

Alongside their new titles, the couple’s wealth has also seen a significant increase.

While Prince William was already estimated to be worth around £34 million, his net worth is now estimated to be a staggering £1.1 billion, solely due to their new job titles.

In addition to being the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate are also the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Cornwall.

The inclusion of Cornwall in their titles means that the couple now inherits an extensive portfolio of land and assets associated with these names.

Reports suggest that they now own approximately 128,000 acres of land spanning across 20 counties in England and Wales.

This vast expanse includes notable areas such as Dartmoor National Park and even a prison in Dartmoor.

They also possess portions of Devon, Kent, Dorset, Carmarthenshire, and Nottinghamshire.

Despite being an avid football fan and a loyal supporter of Aston Villa, Prince William now finds himself as the owner of the Oval cricket ground, frequently used by the Surrey County Cricket Club.

Furthermore, if the couple ever desire to indulge in some gardening, they can visit their very own garden center in Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

The couple now also boasts ownership of various forests and rivers, providing them with ample opportunities for peaceful retreats away from the chaos of their new royal titles.

With the transition of power, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are expected to move from Clarence House to Buckingham Palace.

Interestingly, Prince William and Kate Middleton might also relocate, despite having recently settled into their country home, Anmer Hall.

The Daily Mail reports that there is a comprehensive plan to revamp the extensive royal estate, including the potential move of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Windsor Castle.

According to sources, King Charles envisions these properties as more than just residences for the royal family.

He wants them to offer value to the public.

Plans include transforming Balmoral into a museum dedicated to the Queen and relocating Prince William and Kate Middleton to Windsor Castle.

This ambitious endeavor has raised concerns for Prince Andrew, who is apprehensive about his home in Windsor.

Additionally, his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, will be competing for accommodations during this reshuffling process.

The Prince of Wales, now King Charles, firmly believes that these properties should serve a purpose beyond merely housing members of the royal family.

A source stated, “Everything is seen through the lens of the question, what value is this offering to the public?”
