Prince Harry is set to embark on a new venture following the collapse of the Sussex’s multi-million dollar Spotify deal.

According to sources, he will be working on a Netflix documentary that focuses on his return to Africa, tracing the footsteps of his late mother, Princess Diana.

However, his spouse, Meghan Markle, will not be involved in this project.

Africa holds a special place in Harry’s heart, and he feels a strong connection to the continent.

This upcoming documentary will provide an intimate look into his personal journey and his deep-rooted ties to Africa.

It is his second collaboration with the streaming platform, following the release of the controversial Harry and Meghan documentary.

After facing criticism for their lackluster podcast, Harry has a lot to prove with this new endeavor.

His passion for Africa has been evident throughout his life, as he took Markle on a camping trip there early in their relationship.

Additionally, he co-founded a charity called Centerbale in Lesotho, meaning “forget me not,” with Prince Seeiso, the younger brother of the country’s king.

Princess Diana was the first member of the royal family to establish a public bond with Africa.

Months before her tragic death in a car crash in Paris, she walked through an active minefield in Huambo, Angola, alongside the Halo Trust.

In 2019, Harry retraced his mother’s steps by walking through another minefield in Angola.

However, he faced accusations of staging a photo opportunity during this visit, which raised questions about his intentions.

Interestingly, the news about Harry’s documentary comes shortly after the reveal of Prince William’s Homewoods UK project.

During a speech, William spoke about being inspired by Diana, who had taken him to visit a charity for the homeless when he was a child.

Some see Harry’s announcement as an attempt to overshadow his brother’s project, creating speculation about the dynamics between the two siblings.

Critics have accused Harry and Meghan of exploiting Africa and its legacy for personal gain.

Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter, Nidalka Mandela, expressed her disappointment with the couple’s use of her grandfather’s brand in their Live to Lead documentary series.

While Mr. Mandela is not one of the seven figures featured in the series, footage of him leaving prison in 1990 is included, and the couple claims to be inspired by his words of wisdom.

This is not the first time that the couple has faced criticism from members of the Mandela family.

Last year, Mr. Mandela’s grandson, Zwelewele Mandela, expressed surprise when Meghan compared her wedding to the anti-apartheid leader’s long walk to freedom.

It seems that the couple’s attempts to align themselves with Mr. Mandela’s legacy have not been well-received by his descendants.
