Harry and Meghan Ship Remaining Possessions to California Mansion
In a bittersweet move, Harry and Meghan have transported their remaining belongings to their California mansion just days before the deadline to leave Frogmore.
This relocation is particularly significant as it marks the end of the Sussexes’ UK base, leaving them to rely on hotels or friends whenever they visit England.
Back in 2018, the Queen bestowed the use of the five-bedroom Frogmore cottage to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as a wedding gift.
However, Meghan and Harry have spent very little time at this royal residence over the past three years.
Initially, they were given only a few weeks to pack up their belongings, but negotiations extended their moving-out period until after the coronation.

The decision for the couple to vacate Frogmore Cottage came just one day after the release of the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed earlier this year that they had been asked to leave their UK base, stating, “We can confirm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”
Speculation has arisen that King Charles may ask Prince Andrew to relocate from the royal lodge to Frogmore Cottage.
According to royal biographer Tom Bower, Meghan and Harry’s former home would be a reality check for Prince Andrew.
Bower expressed his belief that Andrew needs to accept his fate and adjust to living without the privileges of a duke.
While Frogmore Cottage may be a cold shower for him, he must face the situation head-on.
