Gwyneth Paltrow, an actress, has said that she felt humiliated when she undressed for the film “Thanks for Sharing.”

The star spoke up about what it’s like to dance about in nothing but your bra, underwear, and a pair of suspender stockings before the DVD release of the movie.

“Doing the lingerie striptease, I’m not sure exactly how you would classify that, but it was very embarrassing. I was not comfortable at all, but, you know, it was a good challenge for me to put myself in a situation that I would never be in in my own life.

“I’m not an exhibitionist like that. And it was a challenge. I’m this other woman and I’m really going to go for it. And it was fine,” she said.

The Oscar-winning actress also gave Mark Ruffalo credit for helping her maintain her composure throughout shooting.

“Mark is so lovely. He made it very easy.”

When the movie first came out, Paltrow spoke candidly to E! News about the movie’s s=x addiction theme.

“The script was so well written and so smart and so specific and so funny,” she said, adding, “and while also with dealing with the subject of people really coming to term, people bumping up against their own damage, having to come to terms with it and deal with it. So I just thought it would be a really interesting experience and it was.”

The protagonist of “Thanks for Sharing” is a lady called Phoebe, portrayed by Paltrow, who battles her boyfriend’s sex addiction.

The fitness and fashion expert looked stunning as she disrobed to catch her on-screen partner’s eye.

Paltrow was recognized earlier this year by People Magazine as the “Most Beautiful Woman” of 2013.

The Iron Man 3 actress revealed to the magazine that she isn’t always as gorgeous as she seems on the red carpet.

“Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt,” she said. “I don’t really wear make-up. That’s what they’re used to.

“Chris will make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in, like, baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”

The 40-year-old Oscar-winning actress said that her notion of beauty had evolved.

She said, “When I am truly myself, I feel my most beautiful. Meaning, when I accept exactly where I am in time and space, and I’m not judging myself in any way, and I feel that I have the peace that comes with loving yourself and all of your flaws.”

“I see so much now how beauty really does, as cliché as it sounds, emanate from within.”
