Faye Dunaway angered crew with diva behavior during photo shoot

During a recent Harper’s Bazaar shoot, Faye Dunaway played true to her diva image.

The 75-year-old, who is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actresses, was posing for photographs at Chateau Marmont for an interview she was doing with the magazine.

The star is said to have been in good spirits during an interview and picture session for the magazine, where she ordered that everyone on the set comply with her every demand.

If she wasn’t protesting a camera position or an outfit, she was yelling, “Everybody out of my eye line!”

However, the celebrity “later contacted the team to praise them and apologize for any stress she might have caused.”

It’s the most recent story regarding Dunaway’s sometimes unusual conduct.

Despite this, she continues to be one of Hollywood’s most renowned actors, appearing in such timeless films as Chinatown, Three Days Of The Condor, The Thomas Crown Affair, and Bonnie And Clyde.

She won the Best Actress Oscar in 1977 for the movie Network.

The “Bonnie and Clyde” actress recently had something of a media resurgence, sitting down for a rare interview with People magazine earlier this summer. However, given how Dunaway bemoaned the public’s misconception of her ever since her role as Joan Crawford in the camp classic “Mommy Dearest,” this tale is hardly the publicity she was hoping for.

“I think it turned my career in a direction where people would irretrievably have the wrong impression of me ― and that’s an awful hard thing to beat,” stated Dunaway. “I should have known better, but sometimes you’re vulnerable and you don’t realize what you’re getting into.”

‘But you can’t be ashamed of the work you’ve done,’ she added stoically. ‘You make a decision and then you have to live with the consequences.’

Dunaway presently resides in Los Angeles and sometimes performs, usually in supporting or tiny parts in TV series.

She has a grown son named Liam, age 36, from her second marriage to photographer Terry O’Neill. She has been married twice and divorced.

Dunaway says on her profile that she’s registering for a Groundlings improv class.

“There’s a lot you need to do to keep your technique in shape … I don’t care. I don’t have an ego in that sense.”
