Ellen DeGeneres, the generous talk show host, took to Instagram on Saturday to give her 139 million followers a glimpse of her exclusive neighborhood in Montecito.

In the video, Ellen can be seen sporting a zip-up jacket and glasses as she takes control of the wheel.

However, what caught everyone’s attention was the sight of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s mansion, which appeared to be sealed off with no signs of life.

Neighbors in the area had previously revealed that they witnessed trucks being hired by the Sussexes to move their belongings out of the property about three weeks ago.

The first indication of their departure came when neighbors noticed ceiling paper taped to the front door.

While it remains unclear where Meghan is currently residing, Harry is said to be staying at a private hotel room.

Harry has found temporary refuge at the San Vicente bungalows, a members-only social club that has become a haven for Hollywood celebrities such as Elon Musk, Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio, Miley Cyrus, and Justin and Hailey Bieber.

The former royal has a room set aside for him at this exclusive establishment.

In the video, Ellen humorously mentions that she and her wife, Portia de Rossi, went on a drive and decided to give their fans a tour of their neighborhood.

She playfully acknowledges that the tour may be a bit fast-paced, as the scenery whizzes by behind her.

Ellen also recommends the best takeout in town, Rusty’s Pizza, for those in the area.

During the tour, Ellen points out the numerous eucalyptus trees lining the streets as a highlight of the neighborhood.

She also jokes about the road having bumps and lumps that need fixing as she cruises alongside Portia, who films the tour.

Ellen and Portia’s residence in Montecito is reported to be worth a staggering £35.2 million, which is three times the value of Meghan and Harry’s house.

The Sussexes acquired their Montecito residence in June 2020, making a down payment and securing a mortgage like any other homeowners.

Meghan previously revealed that they instantly fell in love with the property.

Rumors have circulated that the sealing of the Sussexes’ mansion is due to their alleged bankruptcy.

It is suggested that the couple has faced financial setbacks after losing lucrative deals, including those with streaming giants like Spotify.

Part of the challenge they now face is that their brand has become synonymous with their rift with the royal family.

With the feud reaching a stalemate, public interest in their ongoing saga seems to be waning.

The Sussexes find themselves in a difficult position, as the appetite for content about their feud with the royal institution diminishes.

Additionally, there is limited enthusiasm for their other projects, such as the Archetypes podcast, which aims to explore topics beyond their personal struggles.

Since their departure from the royal family and their relocation to the United States in 2020, the couple has signed several lucrative deals with global streaming platforms and launched their own multimedia organization, Archewell.

However, it was recently reported that Meghan’s deal with Spotify was coming to an end, with rumors suggesting that the streaming platform was dissatisfied with her lack of output and engagement.

Only 12 episodes were released as part of the £15 million deal.

Jeremy Zimmer, the chief executive of UTA talent agency, commented on the situation, implying that Meghan Markle may not possess the talent required for audio productions or any other form of entertainment.
