Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was full of excitement as she accompanied her father-in-law, the Prince of Wales, to the annual Order of the Garter service at Windsor Castle on Monday.

While Prince William appeared sombre, the Duchess looked thrilled as she joined Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall for one of the most vibrant events in the royal calendar.

After the service at St George’s Chapel, Catherine was seen laughing and chatting with Charles, and she warmly greeted his wife Camilla.

The Duchess made a stylish appearance, donning a chic coat dress and a matching Juliette Botterell hat as she mingled with fellow royals.

She accessorized her outfit with a dazzling tanzanite pendant necklace and matching earrings, which she has worn on several occasions in the past.

To add height to her figure, she opted for a pair of blueberry-colored heels with a sharp pointy toe and a glossy heart-shaped chain at the heel.

With a natural beauty look, Catherine showcased a simple makeup style, featuring a light layer of foundation, smoky brown eye makeup, and pink lipstick.

As the senior royals prepared to depart the ceremony, the Duchess exchanged smiles with Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, and Prince Charles and Camilla.

Amid media reports that Prince William had expressed his concerns about his uncle Prince Andrew’s potential public role in the event, Catherine seemed to be easing the tension within the family.

It was alleged that Prince William had given an ultimatum to the Queen and Prince Charles, resulting in Prince Andrew being excluded from the ceremony due to fears of a negative reception from the crowd.

Prince Andrew, who had missed the Jubilee celebrations due to Covid, dramatically withdrew from today’s Order of the Garter ceremony, despite being a member of the ancient Order of Chivalry.

Earlier this year, he had been stripped of his official duties as he prepared to settle a civil lawsuit against him.

The Duke of York’s absence was notable on Garter Day, after lobbying from Prince Charles and Prince William to the Queen.

Among the early arrivals were Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, the children of the Duchess of Cornwall.

They appeared joyful as they waited outside the church in Windsor.

Laura, who prefers to stay out of the spotlight, shares a warm relationship with her stepbrothers, Prince William and Prince Harry, both of whom made an effort to attend her wedding in 2006.

The ceremony involved the formal investiture of new Garter Knights, including Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Recipients of this honor are chosen based on their public service, contributions to national life, or personal service to the Sovereign.

The appointment of Knights of the Garter is at the Queen’s discretion and does not involve consultation with ministers.

The Order includes several British and foreign royals.

In other news, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly planning to move to a house on the Queen’s Windsor Estate this summer, leaving behind Kensington Palace as their main residence.

According to reports, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be withdrawn from their current prep school in Battersea at the end of the school year and will join their younger brother, Prince Louis, at a new school in Berkshire in September.

Although the couple will leave Kensington Palace, they will retain it as their London home while also keeping Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

The move to Windsor will bring them closer to the Duchess’s parents, who live nearby in the village of Bucklebury.

Speculation has long suggested that the couple may eventually reside in Windsor Castle, where the Queen has spent much of her time following the passing of Prince Philip.

In conclusion, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, radiated excitement as she attended the Order of the Garter ceremony alongside Prince Charles.

Her vibrant presence and stylish attire added charm to the event, while her warm interactions with fellow royals helped create a harmonious atmosphere.

Meanwhile, news of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s upcoming move to Windsor has sparked interest and speculation among royal enthusiasts.
