Duchess Meghan’s Wig Revelation: Unveiling the Truth Behind Her Hair Transformation
In a surprising turn of events, it has been revealed that Duchess Meghan wore a wig during her recent TED talk video.
The Duchess of Sussex made a rare public appearance to support her longtime friend and photographer, Misan Harriman, who was delivering a TED talk.
While Meghan looked stunning in a pale blush sheath dress by Brandon Maxwell, it was her hair that caught the attention of eagle-eyed viewers.
Meghan’s layered hair, which now sports a reddish brown tint, was styled straight and flowing down her shoulders.
However, keen observers quickly noticed something amiss – Meghan appeared to be wearing a wig.

This observation was not unfounded, as a friend of Meghan’s mother, Doria, recently disclosed that Meghan had been experiencing hair loss due to overusing hair extensions or using them improperly.
Consequently, she had resorted to wearing a wig.
Upon closer inspection of the video, one can observe the absence of trademark ultra-white lines where her hair is parted, a dramatic color change, or an oddly shiny texture.
It seems that Meghan’s struggle with managing her hair led her to opt for the convenience of a wig.
In some cases, individuals may spritz a little dry shampoo near the roots to reduce shine or minimize glare on camera when wearing a whole wig.
Alternatively, if the wig is synthetic rather than made from Remy hair, it may require adjustments to reduce its shine.
One might wonder why Meghan chose to wear a wig instead of exploring other options.
One reason could be her desire to emulate the gorgeous hair of Princess Catherine, commonly known as Kate, and popular actress Jennifer Aniston.
Meghan’s attempt to match their hairstyles is a reflection of her tendency to adopt elements from others rather than defining her own style.
By imitating them, she hopes to be seen as one of their peers.

Curiosity piqued, I decided to search online to uncover the source of Meghan’s wig.
My aim was to determine if I could identify it through Google Images and discern whether it was a u-part or tap-ins.
To my surprise, I stumbled upon a $23 wig from Lightning in the Box that closely matched the hair in Meghan’s TED talk video.
However, when I attempted to compare it to a screenshot from the video, I accidentally clicked on a different image.
It turned out to be an advertisement for a high-end version of a similar wig.
The model’s face bore a striking resemblance to Meghan, with the same straight across squared high-ish neckline.
Intriguingly, there seemed to be some sort of filter applied to Meghan’s face in the video, giving it an unnatural appearance.
It is worth noting that Meghan’s preference for a center part in her hair may stem from the fear of being labeled outdated.
A few years ago, there was a significant uproar about the side part being considered passé.
This fear seems to have influenced Meghan, a young mother, to consistently opt for a center part.
However, not everyone’s face and hairline suit a center part, particularly when wearing heavy wigs that do not complement such a style.
In truth, Meghan appears more natural and appealing with a gentle side parting.
The revelation of Meghan’s wig-wearing has sparked discussions about her evolving hair choices.
