Meghan and Prince Harry have once again found themselves at the center of controversy this week.

Claims that they introduced their newborn daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the Queen have been called into question.

The name Lilibet pays tribute to the Queen, who was affectionately called Lilibet by close family members during her childhood.

Friends of the couple insisted that the Queen had participated in a video call with the new addition to the family.

However, Palace Insiders have denied the occurrence of any such meeting.

This latest development adds to the ongoing drama between Meghan, Harry, and the rest of the Royal Family.

The turning point in the relationship between Meghan, Harry, and the Royal Family came during their tell-all interview with US talk show host Oprah Winfrey in March.

The couple made several allegations against the monarchy, including issues related to mental health and racism.

During the interview, Meghan opened up about feeling isolated and alone while living in the UK, claiming that she rarely left their home for extended periods of time.

When asked if she had ever considered seeking mental health support or going to a hospital, Meghan expressed her frustration, stating, “‘You can’t just do that.

I couldn’t, you know, call an Uber to the palace.”

Furthermore, she revealed, “‘You couldn’t just go.

You couldn’t…

I mean, you have to understand, as well, when I joined that family, that was the last time, until we came here, that I saw my passport, my driver’s license, my keys.

All that gets turned over.

I didn’t see any of that anymore.”

Since making these claims, Meghan’s statements have faced intense scrutiny.

In her column for the New York Post, Maureen Callaghan challenged Meghan’s narrative by highlighting the number of international trips she took during her time with the Royal Family.

Callaghan pointed out that the Queen has reached her limit with Meghan and Harry, stating, “‘It’s long overdue.

Here’s Meghan just three months ago,” referring to Meghan’s interview with Oprah.

During the interview, Meghan melodramatically portrayed her life as a duchess, comparing it to being locked up in the Tower of London.

However, Callaghan pointed out that Meghan had taken 13 overseas trips, including a solo trip to New York City for a lavish baby shower hosted by Serena Williams, which reportedly cost $430,000 (£305,000), with $125,000 (£89,000) spent solely on the private jet.

It is worth noting that Meghan and Harry made numerous official visits while carrying out their royal duties.

In 2018, they traveled to Ireland, marking their first official trip together.

Later that year, they embarked on a tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand.

In 2019, they visited Morocco and also undertook a tour of Southern Africa.

Additionally, they enjoyed several private trips abroad, including a visit to Elton John at his French home, which required them to fly via a private jet.

As previously mentioned by Maureen Callaghan, Meghan made a solo trip to New York in 2019 to attend a baby shower for her first child, Archie.

All of these international travels would have necessitated Meghan having a passport.

The ongoing controversy surrounding Meghan and Harry continues to captivate public attention.
