Caroline Flack’s mother has expressed her anger towards Prince Harry amidst his ongoing court battle with Mirror Group newspapers.

She claims that her daughter’s phone was hacked while she and Harry were dating.

This comes as Harry testified against the publishing company on Tuesday and Wednesday, making him the first royal family member to give evidence in court in over a century.

Mirror Group newspapers (MGM) has denied any wrongdoing in relation to the article in question, except for a 2004 piece about Harry’s visit to China White’s nightclub, for which they offered an unreserved apology.

However, during his testimony, Harry referred to a 2009 article titled “Harry’s date with Gladiator star” that appeared in the People magazine.

The article described an evening Harry spent with Caroline Flack at their friend Mark Dyer’s home in Fulham.

According to Harry’s witness statement, the publication of this article caused him to doubt Caroline and even mistrust Mark.

He believed that someone had leaked the information to the press, as only the three of them were aware of their plans.

Caroline’s mother, Christine, has now voiced her displeasure towards Harry and his trial.

She revealed that the constant intrusion from the press made it difficult for her daughter to trust people.

Christine Flack appeared on the Jeremy Vine Show on Thursday and shared that whenever a story about Caroline appeared in the papers, it created a sense of distrust among friends and family.

She also mentioned that during her relationship with Harry, Caroline suspected her phone was being hacked, prompting her to use a different telephone.

Vine, the show’s host, commented on the tabloids’ behavior, saying that people lived in fear of them, and at the time, Harry suspected that Caroline and her mother were leaking information.

The continuous publication of false stories about Caroline was a source of endless pain for her and her family, even after her tragic passing.

Christine further expressed her disapproval of Harry’s actions when he delved into her daughter’s death in his memoirs without seeking her consent.

She felt that much of what he wrote had already been repeated multiple times as evidence during his cross-examination in court.

In his memoir, titled “Spare,” Harry detailed his relationship with Caroline and the aftermath of the night in question, referring to her as his “bit of rough.”

He also discussed Caroline’s death in 2020 and the public reaction to it, which coincided with his and Meghan’s decision to step back from their roles as working royals.

Mr. Mullen, who claimed to have worked with Flack for 12 years, took to Instagram to express his disgust at Harry’s decision to reveal private details about Caroline.

According to Mr. Mullen, the press’s treatment of Caroline and the reason behind their breakup were both deeply saddening.

He found it appalling that Harry brought up old slurs that Caroline had endured publicly, causing her immense pain.

While Caroline responded to these slurs with humor and grace, privately, she was deeply hurt.

Mr. Mullen considered Harry’s choice to remind the world of these terrible things in order to sell his book as grotesque.

In his memoir, Prince Harry admitted that he was not familiar with Caroline Flack when they first met at a restaurant with friends, telling her, “I don’t watch much TV.”

The ongoing court case between Prince Harry and Mirror Group newspapers continues to unfold, with Caroline Flack’s mother expressing her disdain for Harry’s actions and his memoir’s revelations about her daughter.
