The British Royal Family attended the annual service of the Order of the Garter at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The event marked King Charles III’s first appearance as monarch, with his wife Queen Camilla and eldest son Prince William of Wales by his side.

Princess Catherine of Wales also supported her husband at the ceremony.

Catherine wore an elegant white dress with black polka dots designed by Alessandra Rich.

The outfit featured a high collar, long sleeves, and a fitted silhouette that highlighted her slim figure.

She paired the dress with a black hat by Philip Treacy adorned with ostrich feathers and a polka dot print.

Her look was completed with exquisite white shoes featuring a black stiletto toe and a small white clutch.

The Duchess of Cambridge opted for an unusually bright make-up look with thick chocolate shadows, arrows, and wine-coloured lipstick.

Her dark hair was elegantly tousled.

Catherine chose to wear diamond earrings with large pearl drops, as well as her legendary blue sapphire ring, which once belonged to William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Fashion experts noted that Catherine paid tribute to her late mother-in-law in her choice of attire.

Diana Spencer wore a similar ensemble and the same jewellery pieces at Royal Ascot in 1988.

Catherine’s contrasting shoes also appeared strikingly similar to those worn by Diana that day.

Prince William took part in the procession for the first time as heir to the throne.

He appeared in a traditional hat decorated with a plume of ostrich feathers.

William had previously worn the Order of the Garter at the coronation of King Charles III in May.

The prince first received the Order of the Garter in 2008, three years before his wedding to Catherine.

The annual event at St George’s Chapel is a traditional ceremony where members of the royal family gather to celebrate the Order of the Garter.

The Order is the highest order of chivalry and was founded by King Edward III in 1348.

It is awarded to those who have served the country with distinction.

The ceremony was attended by other members of the royal family, including Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Prince Andrew.
