US Diplomatic Security Service Wishes Prince William a Happy Birthday

The US Diplomatic Security Service, the State Department’s men in black who protect visitors, surprised Prince William with an unexpected birthday message on Wednesday as he turned 41.

The tweet read, “Happy birthday to the Prince of Wales,” accompanied by a photo taken in Boston last year of a burly operative with William and Kate.

This message comes after Harry and Meghan assumed that US police would guard them in California, only to find out that the American security services rarely indulge in frivolities.

The source said the post was most likely the idea of an important member of the US government’s security apparatus, who has also criticized Meghan and Harry in the past for abusing security to do menial tasks like delivering groceries and coffee.

Anthony John Blinken, the 71st United States Secretary of State, is an American government official and diplomat who served in the State Department during the Clinton administration and in senior positions on the National Security Council from 1994 to 2001.

He was a senior fellow at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies from 2001 to 2002.

When the Queen passed away, he left a touching message, “My deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of the United Kingdom and the people of the Commonwealth upon the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

She was an inspiration to many Americans and through her leadership forged an even deeper US-UK alliance.”

In the comments of the birthday post, some fans commented, “please protect Meghan and Harry in America to show your sincerity.”

Anthony gave a surprising answer to this ungainly request, “not them.”

Royal Protection officers working for Prince Harry and Meghan in Canada have complained they’re carrying out menial tasks like picking up the groceries.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have lived in California since officially quitting the Royal Family at the beginning of the year.

Despite stepping back as senior royals, the couple still needs to be accompanied by highly trained protection staff from Scotland Yard as they remain at risk from targeted attacks.

But a palace security source has claimed that instead of carrying out protection tasks, officers have complained of being tasked with picking up coffee and running errands.

A royal source told The Sun on Sunday, “while the guys are happy to be out there doing the jobs, there’s a feeling that they’re carrying out menial tasks like picking up takeaways and groceries.

They’re close protection officers and should be sticking solely to close protection rather than running errands.

It’s dangerous for one thing because if something were to happen, it wouldn’t be good if one of them was running an errand or picking up coffee.”

A local where the couple and their babies are staying also told the newspaper, “the guards have a fleet of cars and British accents that makes it not hard to spot them in an isolated place like this.”

It takes a lot to impress the men and women who work in the US Diplomatic Security Service.

William and Catherine did something to earn that respect.
