Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Accused of Being “Scroungers” by Royal Author
Former journalist and biographer Tom Bower has accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of being constantly on the hunt for freebies.
Bower’s accusation comes after a Spotify executive recently referred to the couple as “grifters.”
Speaking to GB News, Bower claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had once tried to land a free holiday at a beachside mansion, along with the use of their host’s private jet.
He also alleged that the couple’s constant demands for expenses because they want to live for nothing had angered Spotify bosses, which was partly why their £18 million podcast deal was cancelled last week.
Bower described the couple as “scroungers,” stating that he had heard an extraordinary story about the pair.

Apparently, they were invited to stay in a sun-kissed place by the beach for a few days and arrived in the host’s private jet.
While there, Meghan met someone who had a beautiful house by the beach and asked whether they could become friends.
The following day, Harry called the woman and asked if they could borrow her house, along with her private jet to get there.
Bower suggested that this was indicative of the couple’s constant search for freebies, whether it be jets, houses, or meals.
According to Bower, Meghan’s award-winning Archetypes podcast only had 12 episodes before it was axed, and it’s believed that the audio streaming service will not have to pay the full sum as only one season was made.
Recently, rumors circulated that Markle was in talks with Dior about signing a deal, but the fashion house has since distanced itself from the Sussexes.
Bower suggested that the couple’s financial pressures may put a strain on their relationship, as they require at least three to four million pounds a year just to pay their overheads.
Speaking about Harry, he added that the prince has never had to worry about money in his life, while Meghan has worried about it all her life, which has been her driving force.
