Prince Harry arrives solo in UK for Princess Diana statue unveiling
Prince Harry has arrived in the United Kingdom ahead of the inauguration of a new Princess Diana monument next week.
On June 24, the Duke of Sussex flew from Los Angeles to London’s Heathrow Airport, and was seen departing the City of Angels and returning across the pond. Duchess Meghan remains in Santa Barbara, California, with her daughter and two-year-old son, Archie.
According to the source, Harry was spotted Thursday evening being taken to the airport by a chauffeur in a 2021 Cadillac Escalade registered in California.
The Sussexes’ spokesman confirmed to The Independent that Harry had “arrived safely at Frogmore Cottage.”
On Wednesday, a source informed ET that Harry would remain at his United Kingdom home, Frogmore Cottage, while complying with all COVID procedures upon his arrival.

“Prince Harry will land in the U.K. and isolate for five days before taking a COVID test affirming that he is negative before the events of the day,” a source claimed.
Princess Eugenie, her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their newborn son, August, are now residing at Frogmore Cottage and will maintain a social distance from Harry until he is discharged after testing negative.
Despite reported conflicts, Prince Harry and his brother Prince William will meet on July 1 to attend the installation of their late mother’s monument on what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday.
This is Harry’s first trip back to the United Kingdom after burial of Prince Philip in April. Back then, he also stayed Frogmore with Eugenie.
It is expected that a bigger memorial service for Diana will be held in September. It is unclear if Harry will attend the event if it takes place.
The Dukes will be accompanied by guests including Diana’s close family members, members of the committee that designed her monument, sculptor Ian-Rank Broadley, and landscape designer Pip Morrison, according to reports.
Kate Middleton, William’s wife, has allegedly agreed to attend the ceremony and assist the brothers in resolving their disagreements in time for the occasion. According to a royal source, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, has been following the initiative from its inception and wants to continue supporting her husband, 39.
It seems that Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, will be present for the unveiling of the monument. He delivered the eulogy at her funeral.
