Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Ban Another Friend: Jack Whitehall
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly distanced themselves from yet another friend, as comedian Jack Whitehall reveals that he has been banned by the couple.
The 33-year-old comedian shared that he is no longer allowed to see the ex-royal after making a tongue-in-cheek joke about Prince Harry at the Royal Variety show.
This comes as Prince Harry is alleged to have cut contact with some celebrities and former friends since his relationship with Meghan began.
Jack Whitehall, who spends a significant amount of time in Los Angeles near the couple, believes that his joke was the reason for his ostracization.
Usain Bolt, the Olympic legend, admitted last year that he had severed ties with Prince Harry after the Duke’s relationship with Meghan became serious.

Additionally, there are concerns among Prince Harry’s old Etonian and military friends that a rift may be brewing with the couple, fearing that he may expose them in his upcoming book.
During a recent appearance at the London Palladium in the West End, Jack expressed his concern that his joke from 2015 led to him being shunned.
He was promoting his new book, “How to Survive the Summer Holidays,” alongside his parents, Hilary, 59, and Michael, 81.
According to The Sun, Michael mentioned Meghan’s book, “The Bench,” and joked that it had changed his life, inspiring him to become a writer himself.
The children’s book, which was released in June, sold only 3,212 copies and was described by Meghan as a love letter to her husband and son.
Michael jokingly mentioned that Meghan presumably wrote the book for Harry, highlighting its simplicity with only three lines per page.
However, he also mentioned that Harry is no longer allowed to see Jack, indicating that he has been banned and ostracized from the Sussexes’ circle.
Jack confirmed, “I think I have been banned because I called him ginger nuts at the Royal Variety.”
Jack and Prince Harry had been friends for years, as they moved in the same social circles due to their education at Marlborough College.
However, despite attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding a few months later, Jack was not invited to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018.
Bolt, too, claimed that he had been shunned by the couple in recent years.
The Duke and the Olympic legend became friends during Prince Harry’s visit to Jamaica in 2012, but their friendship cooled after Harry met Meghan.
During Prince Harry’s visit to Jamaica, he met Usain Bolt at the Usain Bolt track at the University of the West Indies as part of a Diamond Jubilee Tour.
The two posed together in Bolt’s signature lightning bolt style before Bolt presented the prince with a personalized t-shirt.
At the time, they engaged in friendly banter, with the fastest man in the world even letting the prince win when they raced on the track.
They exchanged friendly messages on Twitter in 2016, and in 2017, Bolt pledged to organize three stag doffs for Prince Harry ahead of his wedding to Meghan.
It has been previously reported that Prince Harry distanced himself from several members of his former inner circle after meeting Meghan.
In the lead-up to the wedding, he allegedly froze out some of his old friends to avoid any temptations, as per Meghan’s wishes.
In conclusion, Jack Whitehall is the latest friend to be banned by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, following his tongue-in-cheek joke about the prince.
This adds to the growing list of celebrities and former friends who have reportedly been cut off by the couple since their relationship began.
With concerns of a rift brewing and Prince Harry’s upcoming book, it remains to be seen how these relationships will evolve in the future.
