Police car chase on LA runway as Prince Harry flies back to UK
Prince Harry’s flight from Los Angeles to the United Kingdom took off amid the turmoil of two runways being closed due to a police vehicle pursuit.
According to the Mail Online, the Duke of Sussex arrived at Los Angeles International Airport in a black SUV on Thursday evening.
The 36-year-old was about to take off when a vehicle smashed through a fence, sparking a police chase to arrest the driver.
According to reports, a male motorist broke over a barrier at the FedEx freight facility before driving west on an airport road. The driver is reported to have been arrested without injury, and airport police have said that an investigation is ongoing.
The pursuit footage shows a large police presence at the airport.

After around 45 minutes, Harry’s aircraft to London took off.
Harry’s relationship with this family, especially his brother William, has grown strained as a result of his vocal criticism of royal life in interviews in the United States.
He is coming to London to dedicate a new monument to his mother, Princess Diana, on what would have been her 60th birthday.
Harry is spending time alone at his old residence, Frogmore Cottage.
Harry is reportedly sleeping in “self-contained accommodation” at the royal residence at Windsor, which is “Covid secure”
Meghan Markle is at their Montecito home with their newborn second child, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, born 21 days ago at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
This Thursday, Harry and William will attend the unveiling of a statue of Princess Diana in Kensington Palace’s grounds.
They are scheduled to walk together to present their late mother’s monument before making separate speeches.
They have allegedly been speaking by text.
According to a source, ‘The relationship is still very much strained and there’s no sign yet that there will be any sort of coming together any time soon.’
‘The boys will walk out together out of respect for their mum.’
It will be just the royal siblings’ second appearance together since Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, talked to Oprah Winfrey in a televised bombshell interview.
According to reports, the Duke of Cambridge’s wife, Kate Middleton, may serve as a mediator between Harry and William in order for them to “put on a united front at the unveiling.”
According to a source for the The Sun: “Eugenie and Jack were handed the keys[Frogmore Cottage’s] last year and told they could use it while Harry and Meghan were in America.
“The cottage is now literally split into two, meaning Harry can isolate in one half of the house without ever coming into contact with his cousin and her family.
“It has been set up for his return after last-minute plans seemed to work when he was back for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April.”
