Employees at Kensington Palace “couldn’t wait to escape service” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a new book.

The explosive book, written by Robert Lacey, says palace aides believed Meghan Markle was a “complete narcissist and sociopath – basically unhinged”

When Prince William learned of Meghan’s alleged behavior, he was “horrified,” and he demanded that she be “removed” from their joint residence. “William wished to be separated from Meghan on a day-to-day basis.”

“William threw Harry out,” according to a friend of William’s.

Jason Knauf, Kensington Palace’s communications secretary “became concerned by the numerous stories of mistreatment being brought to him by colleagues whom he knew well and trusted.”

Following the allegations earlier this year, Prince Harry said he awoke in the middle of the night to find Meghan weeping into her pillow.

The Sussexes’ lawyers disputed the accusations, and a spokesperson for the couple said that they were the victims of a planned smear campaign based on false and damaging information.

“The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”

Harry, 36, is said to have hung up on William when he asked about the accusations against his former actress wife, 39.

According to Lacey, the battle between the two siblings was “fierce and bitter.”

Meghan is believed to have a “agenda” and to be “undermining some precious principles of the monarchy, if she really was treating her staff in this way.”

According to Lacey, it started around the time Harry and Meghan got engaged in 2017.

When a top assistant talked to the pair about the problems created by their treatment of employees, Meghan was reported to respond, “it’s not my job to coddle people,”

Lacey cites a courtier as stating, “Meghan governed by fear.”

“So many people said it. Nothing was ever good enough for her. [She] humiliated staff in meetings, [would] shout at them, [would] cut them off email chains — and then demand to know why they hadn’t done anything.”

Robert writes that a staffer said: “People felt run over by her. They didn’t know how to handle this woman.”

Harry and Meghan shocked the world by announcing they were leaving full-time working royal life less than a year after their offices and homes were separated.
