Kate and King Charles ‘disagree’ on Prince George’s future
Kate Middleton and King Charles have differing opinions when it comes to Prince George’s role within the Royal Family.
The Queen’s daughter-in-law insists on having a say in what George will or will not do, while her father-in-law, King Charles, has his own ideas about how to manage the young prince’s role.
However, Queen Camilla chooses to stay out of these disputes.
Prince George is the second in line to the throne, following his father Prince William, which explains why there is talk about him taking on a more prominent role within the Royal Family.
However, his mother and grandfather seem to have some minor disagreements on what his role should entail.

According to an insider, Kate and Charles are similar in many respects: they both love what the monarchy stands for, share a deep sense of duty to Britain and the Commonwealth, and uphold the late Queen Elizabeth II’s belief that royals should “never complain, never explain.”
However, they differ in their views on how the monarchy should operate in 2023.
For instance, King Charles is reportedly in favor of sending George to boarding school, just like he did, as well as his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.
On the other hand, Kate is not keen on the idea, so George, as well as his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, do not board at Lambrook school.
The Princess of Wales is also trying to avoid the “heir and spare” dynamic with her children, which has plagued William and Harry.
Therefore, she wants all her three children to be treated equally.
Kate is open to George taking on a more expansive role within the Royal Family, being the eldest, but only if she approves it.
The source said that to her, the King’s word is not final when it comes to her children, and she has been clear about that.
If that starts a rift or even a full-out war, then so be it.
The insider further explained that William and Kate know that when George reaches his teens, they’ll have less say, so for the next three years, they’re going to protect him as much as possible.
They also emphasized that Kate’s children’s happiness comes first, and she will not compromise on that.
When it comes to these disagreements between Kate and the King, Queen Camilla chooses not to intervene.
Although she is a fan of Kate’s, she supports Charles’ decisions as his queen.
