How is Prince Harry able to work in the US?
According to experts, Prince Harry might be working in the United States under a visa meant for those with “extraordinary ability.”
“Harry would have no problem getting the O-1 because he’s a prince,” said immigration expert Doug Lightman of Lightman Law in New York.
“He’s travelled all over the world and there is his work with Invictus.”
“It’s going to be enough to qualify him,” he told the Daily Mail.
People seeking for an O-1 visa must demonstrate that their unique expertise and talent make their presence in the United States beneficial to the country.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, now has two jobs as well as TV and radio projects in the United States, leaving many to wonder how he secured a visa.
The O-1 non-immigrant visa is described by US Citizenship and Immigration Services as a permission for a “individual who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics”
Finding a US citizen to serve as a referee would not have been an issue — Harry’s buddies include ex-President Barack Obama.
Harry and Meghan have been married for over two years, but the notion that you can marry a U.S. citizen and instantly live and work in the United States is a myth, especially in the present political climate. Unless the pair planned ahead of time and applied for Harry’s work visa a long time ago (at least a year ago), it’s probable that they’ll have a difficult time obtaining Harry legally authorized to work in Meghan’s native nation. He’ll have to go through a lengthy and costly work permit application procedure, receive a social security number, and more—all while UCSIS, the Citizenship and Immigration Services department, is fighting to keep normal operations running during the coronavirus crisis.
In terms of visas, Harry has several possibilities. First, consider the most obvious option: He could apply for a green card as an American citizen’s husband and the father of their American-British kid, with Meghan “sponsoring” him. This procedure may take up to two years for an average couple, and it requires a mound of paperwork, exorbitant legal costs, at least one interview, and a wait of at least several months.
Since their arrival in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan have established Archewell, which consists of two production companies and a non-profit foundation.
Meanwhile, Harr ystarted his new job by posting a motivating remark on the BetterUp Instagram account, the life coaching organization he has joined as ‘chief impact officer.’
He wrote: ‘Self-optimisation is not about fixing something that’s broken. It’s about becoming the best version of ourselves with whatever life throws at us.’
