Archie’s Birthday: A Disappointing Affair for Classmates and Celebrities

Archie’s birthday celebration turned out to be a major disappointment as both his classmates and the expected celebrity guests failed to show up.

Despite Megan’s previous claims, via her WME PR, that there would be a star-studded event with the likes of Serena Williams, Governor Newsom, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah, and more, the reality was quite different.

In fact, only a couple of individuals attended the party, including 80s makeup infomercial Queen Victoria Jackson and Doria, Megan’s mother.

Furthermore, it was evident that Harry couldn’t make it back to Montecito in time for the celebration.

What makes matters worse is that Megan continues to release PR statements about Archie’s birthday, which many find quite baffling.

The situation has been described as nothing short of insane.

Among those who were rumored to have been invited to the event were Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Patricia De Rossi, as well as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

However, it seems that other commitments kept them from attending, with Perry attending Charles’s coronation and Bloom traveling to Japan for work.

According to LA-based author Lisa Gashay, who teaches children etiquette classes at the prestigious Montecito Club, celebrities are treated like royalty in Montecito.

She emphasized the importance of figures like Oprah, Ellen, and Serena Williams.

Additionally, she mentioned that if a celebrity has a child around the same age as Archie, it is safe to assume they would be invited.

Insiders claim that the only family member likely to attend the celebration is Megan’s mother, Doria Raglin, who appeared in the couple’s explosive Netflix series.

Reports suggest that Archie has limited contact with his extended family, having only met King Charles a few times.

Despite this, it is said that the Prince and Princess of Wales plan to send Archie a birthday present, even though they haven’t seen him since early 2020.

Interestingly, Archie’s fourth birthday coincided with King Charles’s coronation.

While the royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey for the ceremony, Archie and his sister Princess Lilibet enjoyed an intimate birthday party.

However, despite being grandchildren of the new king, sources suggest that they were not invited due to their young age.

Traditionally, members of the royal family would send birthday wishes to Archie.

However, this year, none have done so, including Harry and Meghan themselves.

Harry has already been spotted leaving London in a hurry, racing back to California.

Archie’s previous birthdays have not been without their challenges either.

Last year, the royal family had to resort to using old photos of Harry and Meghan’s son as they struggled to find up-to-date images.

Relations between the Duke of Sussex and the rest of the royal family have reached an all-time low, but they typically still post birthday messages on social media.

On the official royal family Twitter account, a picture of Archie as a newborn, accompanied by his parents and grandmother Doria, meeting the Queen and the late Prince Philip, was posted to wish him a happy third birthday.

Prince William and Princess Kate also shared a family photo from Archie’s christening, featuring Charles, Camilla, and two of Princess Diana’s sisters.

Both messages included birthday cake and balloon emojis.

In conclusion, Archie’s birthday celebration was far from what was anticipated.

The absence of classmates and celebrities, coupled with the strained relations within the royal family, made for a rather underwhelming affair.

Despite this, Archie surely enjoyed his intimate birthday party, surrounded by loved ones.
