Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, are reportedly content with their current residence in Adelaide Cottage, which they moved into at the end of the summer of 2013.

Despite rumors that the couple had their sights set on Royal Lodge, they have expressed their desire to continue living in their current home.

Adelaide Cottage is located in Windsor and has been the home of the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, for the past year.

The couple has made it clear that they do not want to move into the 30-room Royal Lodge, where Prince Andrew currently resides.

The King has been pushing for Prince Andrew to move out of Royal Lodge, but the Duke has refused, even declining to temporarily vacate the property while renovations are underway.

The monarch has suggested that Prince Andrew consider moving into Frogmore Cottage, which was previously occupied by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Sources close to the royal family have revealed that Prince William, Kate, and their three children are happy in Adelaide Cottage.

The couple wants their children to have a normal upbringing, and they believe that their current residence allows them to achieve this goal.

After moving from Kensington Palace to Windsor in September of last year, the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales enrolled all three of their children at Lambrook School.

The King is eager for the family of five to move into Royal Lodge, but Prince William and Kate have made it clear that they want to stay in Adelaide Cottage.

Prince Andrew has been living in Royal Lodge since 2002, after committing to a lease on the property for 75 years.

He and his current wife, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, continue to reside there to this day.

It was announced earlier this year that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be vacating Frogmore Cottage, the property they had been using as their base in the UK since stepping down from their official duties three years ago.

The eviction was confirmed in a statement released in March, which read, “We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”

The King’s proposal for Prince Andrew to downsize permanently to Frogmore Cottage would create space for the future King and Queen to settle into Kensington Palace.

However, the Duke has refused to leave Royal Lodge out of concern that he may lose the property permanently.

Despite the push for Prince William and Kate to move into Royal Lodge, the couple is content in their current home.

They are committed to providing their children with a normal upbringing, and they believe that Adelaide Cottage allows them to do so.

In conclusion, it seems that the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales will be staying put in Adelaide Cottage for the foreseeable future.

Despite pressure from the King to move into Royal Lodge, the couple has made it clear that they are happy where they are.

Only time will tell if Prince Andrew will eventually agree to downsize to Frogmore Cottage, but for now, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are content in their current home.
