Prince Harry Skips Son’s Birthday to Play Polo in San Francisco

Prince Harry has once again stirred controversy after being spotted in San Francisco playing polo instead of celebrating his son Archie’s birthday in Montecito.

According to a source, Harry had initially left the UK to attend the coronation and then planned to fly back to the United States for his son’s birthday.

However, it seems that things didn’t go as expected.

If Harry had left at 3:30 PM, he would have arrived at 6:55 PM.

With a 90-minute drive to Chez Olive Garden, there was no need for him to rush home for the party.

The celebration for the four-year-old was expected to continue late into the night.

Despite this, Harry chose to fly to San Francisco to prepare for a polo match scheduled for the next day.

South Bay Polo, located in Gilroy, California, was where he landed.

While today marked the start of the Pope Challenge Polo Finals at 4 PM, elimination games were played on the 5th, 6th, and 7th, with the 8th being a rest day.

The championship match is set to take place today.

Interestingly, people have pointed out that Harry also played polo on his son’s birthday last year.

He was seen riding horses with Paolo Nacho Figueres, an Argentinian actor featured in the Sussex’s Netflix documentary.

Figueres was also acknowledged in Harry’s autobiography, “Spare.”

Their team, Los Padres, emerged victorious against rivals Moccaro Farms at the Santa Barbara Polo Club.

Social media users expressed their disappointment with Harry’s choice to prioritize polo over his son’s birthday.

One Twitter user sarcastically wrote, “Don’t tell us you now want to celebrate it on King Charles’ coronation.”

Another user highlighted that Harry played polo on Archie’s birthday last year, suggesting that the couple did not place much importance on dedicating the entire day to their son’s celebration.

Rumors have also circulated that Harry and Meghan have specific demands that need to be met if they are to attend events.

This includes some recognition of their son’s special occasions.

However, it appears that Harry did not see his son on his birthday, as he rushed to Heathrow Airport to catch an 11-hour flight.

This contradicts the couple’s previous statements about ending generational pain.

Royal columnist Lee Cohen criticized the Sussexes for their apparent desire to upstage royal occasions despite no longer having a royal platform.

Cohen stated, “It’s terribly petty, but the Sussexes seem to relish any opportunity to attempt to upstage a royal occasion.”

He emphasized that the royal family does not seek to overshadow the Sussexes’ actions.

Furthermore, Harry’s absence during lunch with his father on his birthday adds fuel to the fire.

His excuse of spending time with his son was called into question, leading to speculation about his true intentions.

In a conversation with Jack, Harry mentioned the possibility of backdating Archie’s birthday to coincide with the coronation day, defying the laws of physics and time travel.

Adding to the intrigue, a private jet owned by Patrick Soon-Shiong, part owner of the Lakers, was initially rumored to be Harry’s mode of transportation to the UK.

However, claims later emerged that he had flown commercially.

Coincidentally, the private jet arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) shortly after the British Airways flight.

Although there are no photographs of Harry on either plane, a picture of the Range Rover heading to Santa Barbara has surfaced, suggesting that Harry may have disembarked from one of the planes.
