Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: Only Relevant When Insulting Royal Family
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have received a lot of criticism lately, with sports journalist Stephen Smith being the latest to slam them on his podcast.
According to Smith, the only time people care about the couple is when they insult their own family.
Since stepping down from the Royal Family, Meghan and Harry have been very vocal about their treatment at Buckingham Palace.
However, Smith seems to be one of many famous people who have an issue with the couple’s constant criticism of the Royal Family.
During a family outing, Smith took a jab at the couple, saying that people didn’t really care about them.

“If Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex hadn’t complained about the Royal Family, I don’t know if anyone would care what they would say,” he said on his podcast.
However, he quickly made it clear that he wasn’t trying to pet Meghan Markle.
He praised her talent and said that she did a great job in Suits.
Smith is not the only one to criticize the couple publicly.
Spotify’s head of international sports content, Bill Simmons, recently called the pair grifters.
He added, “This is the podcast we should be doing with them.
I’m going to have a drink one night and tell the story of Zoom that I got with Harry to try and help him with the podcast idea.
It’s one of my best stories.”
On his podcast, Smith played the audio recording of Simmons calling out to the couple.
He admitted that he did not know the meaning of the word grifter, but he searched for it.
Explaining the meaning, a grifter is a con artist, someone who cons people out of their money through fraud.
Smith noted that Bill Simmons was gone at Harry and Meghan adding that he seemed very happy they’re gone.
However, he also thought Bill’s comments about the couple were a bit over the top.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as members of the Royal Family in 2020 and decided to move to California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Since their exit from the Royal Family, the Sussexes have been very vocal about their mistreatment at Buckingham Palace.
Harry and Meghan have publicly called out the Royal Family in Netflix docuseries.
Harry also wrote about instances in his life of family abuse in his memoirs, Spare.
It seems that the couple’s public criticism of the Royal Family has caused a lot of controversy.
Smith’s comments about the couple being only relevant when insulting their family show that many people are growing tired of the constant negativity surrounding the Sussexes.
