Prince George isn’t the only royal in his ‘star-studded’ class at school

It feels like Prince George’s first day of school was only yesterday, but the little royal, who just turned eight, is growing up right before our eyes.

I mean, look at how grown-up George appeared to be during the football game when he matched clothes with Prince William.

He goes to Thomas’ School in Battersea, and it turns out he isn’t the only one in his class who has royal status.

Maud Windsor, the granddaughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent (who happens to be the 47th in line to the throne), began attending the school at the same time as George.

Thomas’s, a £17,600-per-year independent school in Battersea, London, features small classes, with each containing around 20 students.

Cara Delevingne and her elder sisters, as well as music singer Florence Welch, attended the prestigious institution.

Maud’s father, Lord Frederick Windsor, handed off his little daughter on her big day, just as William did for George.

Maud Winsdor, George’s classmate, is the granddaughter of Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin, and the daughter of Lord Freddie Windsor and actress Sophie Winkleman.

Sophie Winkleman, sometimes known as Lady Frederick Windsor, is a British actress who is best known for her role as Big Suze in the television series Peep Show.

She has also starred in The Palace and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and is the sister of Claudia Winkleman, a TV host.

A ballet room and a poetry room, as well as two libraries, a theater, and a gym, are all components of the outstanding school.

And George isn’t the only Cambridge family member that is pals with Maud, who is also eight years old. Charlotte and Maud look to be BFFs, and the two were even flower girls at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s 2018 wedding.

Little Maud was born a month after George in August 2013, and the two youngsters started school at the Thomas’s on the same day in September last year.

The school has been called the “best education money can buy” by the Good Schools Guide, so it’s hardly surprise that there’s more than one royal tot on campus.

Prince Louis is due to join next year.

Lord Freddie Windsor and Sophie Winkleman married back in 2009 at the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court, south-west London. The Queen and Prince Charles were unable to attend the wedding, but it was still a starry event with lots of celebrity guests.

While at school, the eight year old goes by the name of George Cambridge.

Princess Charlotte also holds the same name – Charlotte Cambridge – and Louis will likely be Louis Cambridge when he attends school.
