Prince George Celebrates 9th Birthday with Heartwarming Messages and Musical Tribute
Prince George, the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, turned nine on Friday, and the occasion was marked with heartfelt messages and a special musical tribute.
The Queen took to her official Twitter account to express her well wishes and gratitude towards the Irish Guards band for their performance in honor of the young royal.
In a heartwarming post, the Queen thanked the Irish Guards band for playing “Happy Birthday” to celebrate Prince George’s special day.
The Duke of Cambridge, who is the Colonel of the Irish Guards, has a close connection to the band, having become their Colonel in 2011 and even wearing their uniform during his wedding to Catherine that same year.
The accompanying video showed a magnificent band of trumpeters standing in a semicircle, dressed in their full regalia, including their distinctive busby hats.
