Meghan and Kate’s Relationship Strained by Petty Quarrels, Says Prince Harry
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has opened up about his wife Meghan’s difficult relationship with his brother William’s wife Kate.
It appears that the more Harry discusses the trivial disputes between the two duchesses, the less likely a reconciliation becomes.
In his memoir, Harry reveals that tensions arose even before his and Meghan’s wedding.
One day prior to the wedding, the Welsh couple was invited to dinner.
At the time, William was feeling unwell, and Meghan suggested homeopathic medicine with oregano and turmeric oils.

Kate expressed her disapproval of unconventional medications, leading to tension at the dinner table.
Unfortunately, this was not the last conflict between the two.
Another disagreement occurred on the eve of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, which prompted the prince to publish personal correspondence between Meghan and Kate in his memoir.
The issue stemmed from Kate’s concerns about the flower girls’ dresses, one of whom was her daughter, Charlotte.
Kate felt that the dress did not fit properly, being too big, long, and baggy.
She communicated her concerns to Meghan, who suggested having Charlotte’s dress remodeled.
However, Kate insisted that all the girls’ dresses needed to be completely redone.
Meghan, already overwhelmed by a conflict with her father, expressed her inability to handle the situation.
The conversation ended with Kate reminding Meghan of the importance of the upcoming wedding and persuading her to visit the tailor.
According to Harry, this dialogue left Meghan emotionally drained, and he found her sobbing on the floor.
However, the conflict was resolved diplomatically when Kate sent Meghan a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of reconciliation.
Yet, rumors circulated that Meghan’s support for the MeToo movement created further tension, as Kate did not share the same stance.
Harry believes this made Kate anxious, as she now felt the pressure to compete with Meghan and be constantly compared to her.
Another source of strain between the two households was Meghan accepting gifts from various fashion houses.
While Kensington Palace typically returned such gifts, Meghan kept them for herself and even gave some away to her staff.
Prince Harry is convinced that Kate felt jealous of Meghan and was annoyed by the need to compete for public attention with the American duchess.
Consequently, their friendship never materialized.
In conclusion, Prince Harry’s revelations shed light on the strained relationship between Meghan and Kate.
Their disagreements over unconventional medicine, dress fittings, and differing views on social issues created tension that hindered their ability to become friends.
