Kermit the Frog and his Muppets co-star, Miss Piggy, brought laughter to King Charles at the Windsor Coronation Festival.

The monarch couldn’t contain his amusement as Miss Piggy playfully referred to host Hugh Bonneville as a real lord, mistaking the actor for his character in Downtown Abbey, the Earl of Grantham.

The King’s laughter intensified when she hilariously called him King Charles E. Wilesy and jokingly mentioned that she was expecting Kermit the Frog in the royal box.

Upon spotting the Downtown Abbey star, Miss Piggy exclaimed, “Look Kermit, it’s him, a lord, a real lord.”

However, Hugh Bonneville quickly clarified that he only played a lord on television.

Despite this, the man-hungry hog couldn’t resist expressing her interest in the famous actor, asking if he was single and even throwing herself at him right in front of poor Kermit.

Some royal fans speculate that producer Bill Prady intentionally crafted this humorous script as a subtle jab at Meghan and Harry.

In the skit, Miss Piggy portrays an aspiring actress yearning for a romantic relationship with a lord.

Although Miss Piggy’s advances are thwarted by security, Kermit the Frog successfully makes his way to the royal box and is seated near the Duke of Edinburgh.

Twitter erupted with comments from viewers, praising Miss Piggy’s star power and comparing her success to Meghan’s.

One user wrote, “Miss Piggy is definitely outshining Rachel with her desire for a lordship and talking about herself.

Meghan could only dream of that level of accomplishment.”

Another tweet highlighted Miss Piggy’s impressive filmography compared to Rachel’s, stating, “No comparison, Miss Piggy has a more extensive filmography than Rachel will ever have.”

The appearance of Kermit and Miss Piggy was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the evening, with followers applauding Hugh Bonneville for his hosting skills.

Miss Piggy’s longing for a lord and her dreams of a castle and an extravagant ring added an entertaining twist to the performance.

However, some viewers jokingly remarked that the role of a gold digger had already been filled.

Even Princess Charlotte and Prince George were captivated by the spectacle, while the Prince of Wales shared a laugh with his father.

Just before Hugh Bonneville introduced the final act of the star-studded concert, the camera cut to the royal box, where Kermit waved a union flag in front of a beaming Duke of Edinburgh.

The King joined in the applause and then turned to his left as Bonneville concluded the event, expressing gratitude to their majesties for allowing them to perform.

As the camera panned out to show a wide view of the royal box, Charles and Camilla could be seen smiling, while Kermit nodded in appreciation.

The concert also featured pre-recorded video messages from stars such as Hugh Jackman, Pierce Brosnan, Dame Joan Collins, Bear Grylls, Alan Titchmarsh, and Sir Tom Jones, paying tribute to the King.

Paloma Faith delivered a soulful rendition of “Lullaby” during the Winter Concert, while ten towns and cities across the country were illuminated in honor of the King’s coronation.
