Jessica Mulroney Throws Shade at Meghan Markle on Instagram
The friendship between Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle, once inseparable, has taken a turn for the worse.
The two became close while filming in Toronto, with Jessica even assisting Meghan in choosing her wedding gown.
They embarked on trips together and had their children play important roles at Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
However, their friendship began to show cracks when Jessica became involved in a race row, which brought Meghan’s name into the controversy.
Now, it seems that their bond has completely dissolved, as Jessica excluded Meghan from an Instagram post.

On Sydney Martin’s anniversary, Jessica paid tribute to a friend by posting a picture of someone wearing a wedding dress, captioned, “Always my favourite bride.
Guess it ain’t Meghan.”
This post is seen as a direct snub towards Meghan, especially considering that Sydney is married to an NHL player, whom Meghan tried to befriend during her time in Toronto.
The fact that Sydney’s dress fits perfectly also adds insult to injury.
Jessica is also upset that her show, “I Do Redo,” which she planned to leverage after Meghan’s wedding, was canceled due to the racist claims against her.
Her career has never fully recovered from this setback.
Meghan and Jessica’s friendship blossomed while Meghan was working on the TV show “Suits,” and Jessica was believed to be Meghan’s unofficial maid of honor.
It was rumored that Jessica would accompany Meghan and Harry on their first royal tour through Australasia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand.
She was also on the guest list for Meghan’s baby shower in New York City in 2019.
However, their relationship took a turn when lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter called out Jessica for displaying white privilege within the fashion blogging community.
Exeter detailed her experiences in an 11-minute Instagram video, stating that Jessica’s actions were problematic and resulted in her receiving a threatening message from Jessica.
Jessica later issued a public apology, expressing her remorse and acknowledging the need to learn and listen to elevate and support black voices.
She also made a reference to Meghan, hinting at the impact of their personal experiences on their friendship.
As a consequence of the controversy, Jessica lost TV gigs and a reality show, and it seemed that her friendship with Meghan was also severed.
However, she recently broke her silence.
According to a source, Meghan had already begun distancing herself from Jessica, as she was disappointed with Jessica’s use of their friendship to advance her career.
The insider revealed that the white privilege row provided Meghan with the perfect excuse to cut ties with Jessica for good.
It is unclear what exactly led to this tipping point, but it appears that their friendship has been deteriorating for some time.
After all, how can a friendship remain close when one person is exploiting it for personal gain?
Fans speculated that the pair faced another rough patch in June 2021 when Jessica shared a quote about losing close friends on her Instagram story.
The passage emphasized how life changes, love and friendships are lost, but new love and better friends come along, leading to personal growth.
This cryptic post mirrored a similar incident in May, when Meghan was excluded from Jessica’s Instagram post celebrating her best girlfriends.
Moreover, Jessica shared a mysterious post ahead of the release of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary, suggesting that she had spoken to Meghan on the phone before the prince proposed.
It is evident that the once strong bond between Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle has disintegrated.
Their friendship, which blossomed during their time together in Toronto, has been strained by controversy and allegations of exploitation.
While they may have shared special moments in the past, it seems that their paths have diverged, leaving behind a sense of animosity and distance.
