Princess Charlotte Could Make History by Attending Eton College
Princess Charlotte, the young daughter of Prince William and Duchess Kate, may be on track to continue the royal family’s legacy by attending Eton College.
This prestigious school, which has traditionally only admitted boys, is currently considering going co-ed, potentially making Charlotte one of the first girls to attend.
The royal couple has expressed their desire for their children to attend the same school, so if Eton College opens its doors to girls, Charlotte could follow in the footsteps of her father and older brother, Prince George.
Recently, the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen visiting Eton College with their eldest child, Prince George, who is nine years old.
This visit further fueled speculation about Charlotte’s potential enrollment at the school.

The decision to admit girls would mark a significant change for Eton College, which has maintained a boys-only policy for its entire 600-year history.
Meanwhile, Charlotte’s cousins, Lilibet and Archie, may not have the same opportunity.
Living in California, it may be challenging for them to study alongside their royal relatives.
Prince Harry himself attended Lovegrove and then Eton College, but his children might take a different path.
Private schools such as Laguna Blanca or Cate School are possible options for them.
However, Meghan may choose to follow a more conventional route and opt for state schooling.
Another alternative for Harry and Meghan’s children is Crane Country School, established in 1928 and known for its exclusive clientele.
With an average class size of 15 students and a teacher-to-pupil ratio of 7:1, this school offers a highly personalized education.
However, tuition fees can amount to $31,000 per term, compared to Eton College’s $19,620 per term.
Notable figures such as Tom Hiddleston, Alex Pettyfer, Herbert Asquith, Giles Clark, Hugh Laurie, and Eddie Redmayne have all attended Eton College.
Lord Waldegrave, Eton’s provost, has previously mentioned that the school will eventually open its doors to girls.
While the decision has not been made yet, it is expected that Eton College will go co-ed in due course.
Eton College typically admits students at the age of 13, and potential candidates must register by the time they finish year 5, around the age of 10.
Prince George, who was recently seen on site at the school with his royal parents, will be turning 10 next month.
Lord Waldegrave, who has served as the provost and chairman of Eton’s governing body since 2009, will soon step down from his position.
This means that by the time George becomes a student, the role could be filled by a man or possibly a woman.
Currently, the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales, including five-year-old Prince Louis, attend Lambrook School in Windsor.
Last September, George, Charlotte, and Louis all began their education at this school after relocating from London with their parents.
