The cause of Gallagher’s untimely death, as confirmed by the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner, was acute intoxication resulting from the combined effects of fentanyl, P-fluorophentanol, and ethanol.

Her manner of death has been officially ruled as a homicide.

Authorities suspect that her tragic passing is linked to a series of violent druggings and robberies that occurred in Lower Manhattan throughout 2022.

The statement released by authorities reveals that between March 18, 2022, and December 18, 2022, Allen allegedly committed numerous robberies and additional crimes in Lower Manhattan.

Sometimes acting alone, and at other times with accomplices, he would drug his victims with fentanyl and other opioids.

The purpose behind these sinister acts was to steal their credit cards, watches, phones, and personal identifying information.

One alleged accomplice, Sean Shirley, 36, has been identified by police.

However, he is not facing charges in connection with Gallagher’s death.

According to reports, Allen followed Gallagher home from a bar and offered her drugs.

Tragically, the following morning, she was discovered lifeless in her apartment.

Having launched her eponymous fashion line in 2010, she showcased 26 collections at prestigious events such as New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

Gallagher was in the process of working on her 27th collection, with plans to unveil it in the upcoming fall season.

Her clientele included prominent figures like Daphne Guinness, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, and Larvin Cox.

Not only did she dress cultural icons, but she also modeled for fellow designers and labels.

In her obituary published by the Rhode Island School of Design, Gallagher was described as unique, beautiful, smart, unabashed, and always aspiring for more.

She possessed an unwavering work ethic and immense talent, brimming with countless ideas and plans for future projects.

The obituary also mentioned that she is survived by her parents, five sisters, a niece, grandmother, and a wide circle of extended family members, friends, clients, and colleagues.

In addition to Katherine Gallagher, Allen’s alleged victims include Alexander Rudnitsky, Saeed Athamed, Nurbo Shara, and Ardijan Berisha, as reported by the New York Times.

Shirley, on the other hand, is facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the deaths of Ahmed and Rudnitsky.

Both individuals have pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.
