The UK’s most popular music festival, Glastonbury, is off to a great start this year with the legendary Sir Elton John taking the stage.

Among the 200,000 people who attended the event was Princess Beatrice, who unfortunately had an embarrassing mishap in 2022.

Several members of the royal family have been spotted at Glastonbury in past years, including Princess Beatrice, who was seen in the VIP area with her property developer husband, Edoardo Moppelli Mozzi.

Last year, she attended performances by Diana Ross, Paul McCartney, and Billie Eilish.

However, during this year’s festival, Princess Beatrice experienced an embarrassing blunder while trying to make a purchase at a fancy restaurant.

Trending:

She queued up at Pony Bisto, which is owned by Michelin-starred chef Josh Eagleton, and attempted to buy some goods.

To her dismay, her card was declined not once, but three times.

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Star, “she tried to pay with the card but it was declined three times.”

Despite the awkward situation, Princess Beatrice was seen enjoying herself with the rest of the revelers at the festival.

Princess Beatrice isn’t the only royal to have attended Glastonbury.

In 2013, the Duke of Sussex was seen at the festival with his then-girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

The couple watched the Rolling Stones on the Pyramid Stage before getting snapped up with some chips while soaking up the sun.

Prince Harry tried to hide his identity by wearing shades and a triangular hat.

Prince Andrew’s eldest daughter was snapped walking her husband several times at the festival.

In the VIP area were star-studded Stella McCartney and Gemma Collins among her clients during the festival.

The Duke’s cousin and matchmaker, Eugenie, also attended the festival.

She was seen braving the torrential rain at Worthy Farm in 2016.

In 2010, King Charles surprised many by becoming the first royal to attend the festival, which celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The then Prince of Wales was seen strolling through festival-goers and walking onto the Pyramid Stage waving to the crowd.

Prince William has said he’s always wanted to go with Kate, Princess of Wales, because he’s really into music.

However, he joked that it’s too hard to go to concerts and that his dance moves aren’t good anyway.

Despite her embarrassing mishap, Princess Beatrice seemed to have enjoyed herself at Glastonbury.

It’s always exciting to see members of the royal family joining in on the fun and festivities at such a popular event.

In conclusion, Glastonbury is not just a music festival, but a place where people from all walks of life come together to enjoy themselves.

It’s a great opportunity for royals to mingle with the public and have some fun.

We look forward to seeing who will attend next year’s festival.
