The announcement by Prince William that he plans to build social housing on land he inherited from his father, King Charles, has raised eyebrows at Buckingham Palace.

According to well-informed sources, the frank disclosure during an interview with the Sunday Times stole the monarch’s thunder the day after the Trooping the Colour parade in London.

One former Buckingham Palace employee claimed that the Prince of Wales removed King Charles from the front pages with his announcement.

The timing of the interview is sure to raise eyebrows at the Palace, according to Richard Eaton, editor of the Daily Mail’s diaries.

The Duchy of Cornwall’s social housing initiative hasn’t been launched in a while, and the sequel could have been better.

Prince William’s announcement is likely to have caused concern at the Palace, given that it was made so soon after the Trooping the Colour parade.

In addition, Prince William is still feeling resentful towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The brothers were once close siblings at the heart of the British royal family, but their relationship has since soured in the past few years, plagued by Harry’s allegations in his book, “Spare,” as well as his 2020 move to California with wife Meghan Markle.

Christopher Anderson, author of “The King,” claims that the Prince of Wales is still angry about Harry’s 400-page diary.

Anderson also notes that William is still seething with resentment over Megxit, not to mention Harry’s hateful image of him in “Spare.”

In the book, Harry portrays William as his mortal enemy and claims he suffered bruises after being knocked to the ground by William following a fight between them two months before he and Markle left the royal family.

The Duke of Cambridge reportedly described the former Suits actress as difficult, sassy, and abrasive at the time.

Harry then replied that he was just trying to fight the negative pressure the couple had been under.

Anderson claimed that Harry is clearly upset that William got a free ride because he is the heir and got away with doing many of the same things that Harry had drawn criticism for.

Despite the ongoing feud between the brothers, William is doing a great job of partitioning.

It seems he has put Harry and Meghan in a box and shoved that box into a far corner of his mind.

Anderson asserts that William is just trying to do the job he should do as Prince of Wales.

Harry appeared on Good Morning America during a promotional tour for his book and gave a one-on-one interview with broadcaster Michael Strahan.

The father of two has spoken openly about why William calls him his enemy and explained his position further.

“There’s always been this competition between us, weirdly,” said Harry.

“I think he’s really playing, or playing, the heir, and I, the spare.”

Harry added that Diana would be shocked by the estranged relationship between him and his brother.

“I think she will be sad,” he sighed.

“I think she’d be sad because it ended where it did.”

In conclusion, Prince William’s announcement about social housing plans on land inherited from King Charles has caused concern at Buckingham Palace.

Moreover, the ongoing feud between Prince William and Prince Harry shows no signs of abating.

Despite this, William is doing a great job of partitioning and focusing on his role as Prince of Wales.
