Prince Harry Plans New Africa Documentary Without Meghan Markle
Prince Harry is reportedly in the early stages of planning a new documentary in Africa, and this time, he intends to go solo.
Despite uncertainties surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s lucrative Netflix deal, Harry is determined to embark on this new project.
The decision is drawing comparisons to his late mother, Princess Diana, who famously campaigned against landmines in Africa before her untimely death.
While the details of the documentary remain under wraps, it is worth noting that the ongoing Hollywood writers’ strike has temporarily halted Harry’s progress.
However, sources close to the prince reveal that Africa holds a special place in his heart, and he feels a deep connection to the continent.

A Netflix insider confirmed that Harry has been discussing several ideas, with the African documentary being one of them.
However, the main obstacle standing in Harry’s way is his wife, Meghan Markle.
It seems that Meghan wants to be involved in the documentary and even hopes to portray a modern-day version of Princess Diana.
Unfortunately for her, Netflix rejected this request, as they are not interested in producing a self-promotional piece.
The focus of the project is not Meghan, and she does not have a role in it.
Rumors of tension between Harry and Meghan have surfaced, suggesting that they may be at odds over this matter.
It appears that Meghan’s desire to be the central figure in the documentary has caused friction between the couple.
Some speculate that this disagreement may have led to heated arguments, as Meghan was unable to get what she wanted.
Critics argue that the couple should be more actively involved in charitable endeavors, especially given their high-profile status.
Many wonder why Harry and Meghan are not seen engaging in philanthropic activities or attending meetings in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
While Harry has a startup, it seems inactive and lacks partnerships with well-known organizations such as the National Mental Health Association or popular mental health apps like Calm, Headspace, or BetterHelp.
The Sussexes’ career in streaming and podcasting took a hit when Spotify terminated Meghan’s podcast archetypes.
Furthermore, Netflix is reportedly considering canceling their deal with the couple when it expires in 2025, as they have rejected several show ideas proposed by Harry and Meghan.
UTA CEO Zimmer commented that Meghan’s fame does not automatically translate into talent, highlighting Spotify’s decision to part ways with the couple.
In an effort to secure their outstanding fees of £40 million from Netflix, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been urged to develop more captivating shows.
Their six-part series, which delved into personal struggles, was well-received but did not meet Netflix’s expectations in terms of viewership.
The couple has allegedly received only half of their reported £81 million contract and will only receive the rest if they produce content that generates genuine interest.
If Harry and Meghan fail to deliver compelling follow-ups, they may face a public split similar to the one they experienced with Spotify.
The pressure is on for the couple to prove their worth and maintain their standing in the competitive world of streaming.
