The world watched as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony that was watched on television by 11.5 million people, with around 600 guests in attendance.

However, only 200 of them were lucky enough to attend the private reception at Frogmaw House.

The groom’s father, Prince Charles, organized the party and made sure that the newlyweds were feeling comfortable and happy.

All guests were urged not to publish photos and videos from the reception on social media.

The Sussex couple showed the public only the second wedding dress of the bride by Stella McCartney, but some details of the celebration still leaked online.

It is known that the dress code of the event was a classic black tie, and guests were happy to show off their outfits before the party started.

The menu was a little less traditional, with burgers, pork brisket, and cotton candy included, as well as an original cocktail called When Harry Met Meghan, named after the famous Hollywood romantic comedy.

The newlyweds paid tribute to the bride’s American heritage by choosing Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody for their first dance.

At one point, the star-studded banquet turned into a very heartfelt party, especially since all guests were given slippers at the entrance in case their feet got tired.

Famous actor and TV host James Corden was the main cheerleader, encouraging everyone to be more active on the dance floor.

He even managed to arrange a dance battle between Prince Charles and his sons.

One of the guests, Idris Elba, was even invited as a DJ, and he created a great atmosphere.

By the way, the music was as diverse as possible, from lyrical compositions of the 60s and groovy dance hits of the 80s to modern house tracks.

Another guest, George Clooney, got to dance not only with Meghan Markle, but also with Duchess Catherine.

He also had a chance to be a bartender and was good at mixing drinks for guests.

But all this pales before the incredible fact that guests played beer pong at the royal wedding.

This common entertainment of American students was especially enjoyed by tennis legend Serena Williams.

And the culmination of the evening was a colorful firework show.

After that, the elderly guests started to disperse, leaving the young people to continue partying.

At 2am, the newlyweds left for Windsor Castle, and the staunchest guests went to London for more afterparties.

The guests had a great time, with many saying that Meghan looked like the happiest woman in the world, having lots of fun with Harry.
