Prince George Twins with Dad Prince William in suits and ties at England v Germany game
On Tuesday, Prince William and his 7-year-old son Prince George wore similar suits and ties to the UEFA Euro 2020 Championship game between England and Germany at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Kate Middleton and Prince William brought their 7-year-old son George to Wembley Stadium to watch England play.
Prince George also seemed to provide good fortune to his country’s soccer team, which triumphed 2-0 and advanced to the quarterfinals.
During the heated game, William, 39, the president of the Football Association, was spotted talking with his child and cheering for their home team.
Following the game, Prince William and Kate’s Twitter account posted an ecstatic picture of the three in the grandstand, smiling and applauding. They captioned the photo, “Incredible performance @England!”

Kate Middleton was also decked up in patriotic colors. The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, looked stunning in a red double-breasted Zara jacket ($89.99) over a white shirt, black skinny jeans, and Annoushka pearl drop earrings ($519).
The early evening start time of 5 p.m. London time made it an ideal after-school activity for Prince George. After greeting British soccer legend David Beckham, who attended William and Kate’s royal wedding with wife Victoria in 2011, George was seen singing the national song with his parents before the game began. Ed Sheeran was also there, seated a few seats behind the royals.
Prince William, 39, often attends games. Prince George seems to be a fan as well, since he was seen sporting an England soccer shirt in 2019. He’s also been seen playing with his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.
Middleton and the Duke of Cambridge’s other two children were not there for the family excursion.
It is believed that this is George’s first live viewing of the England national team. However, he and his younger sister Princess Charlotte, 6, were taken to a game in October 2019 between William’s favorite club side, Aston Villa, and Norwich City. George was seen cheering on Villa’s victory.
