In a surprising turn of events, Military Amanda has displaced Meg as co-host alongside Prince Harry for the upcoming Invictus Games in 2023.

The decision to replace Meg came after reports emerged that there was an imbalance in the Netflix documentary about the games, with too much focus on the Duchess of Sussex and not enough on the overall story.

Rumors had been circulating that the abundance of scenes featuring Megan Markle could pose a problem for the production.

In an attempt to address this issue, the producers made the difficult decision to cut out all the footage she was involved in.

It seems that damage control is now too late for her.

Adding to the intrigue, the official website of the Invictus Games recently announced the arrival of a new ambassador.

This announcement has fueled speculation that Megan Markle is being completely cut out of the games, making way for another female ambassador who can bring more symbolism and influence to the event.

The newly appointed ambassador, former military GP Amanda, shared her thoughts on how the Invictus Games empower her.

Expressing her aspirations, she said, “I hope to be a successful role model as an ambassador for the games, inspiring and encouraging other serving personnel and veterans with chronic health conditions to apply for future games.”

Amanda’s journey began in 2007 when she joined the armed forces to explore the world and face new challenges.

Initially working as an armed forces locum in Germany with the RAF, she soon found herself fast-tracked and training at Sandhurst after being advised by a senior military GP to consider full-time service.

Although initially overwhelming, Amanda knew she was in the right place with the right people.

She particularly enjoyed working with multinational teams and her promotion to senior medical officer at Camp Bastion provided her with the opportunity to work on a higher strategic level, while developing new skills along the way.

During her time in the Irish Guards, Amanda had a memorable experience and was part of the last medical team in Helmand before Camp Bastion was handed over.

It was during her service that she was diagnosed with a health issue, which made her participation in the upcoming Invictus Games in Dusseldorf even more meaningful.

Leaving the army created a void for Amanda, and she knew she needed something to focus on to feel connected to the sense of purpose she had in her military life.

The pre-selection training camps for the Invictus Games provided her with the motivation she craved, allowing her to try out different sports like powerlifting and challenging herself in new ways.

Being selected as an ambassador has already had a significant impact on Amanda’s well-being.

She has been more consistent in going to the gym and swimming regularly, finding solace in these activities.

Additionally, the training camps and the opportunity to meet new people have given her a much-needed boost.

For Amanda, recovery is not just about the short term.

She understands the long-term benefits of exercise, which improve both quality of life and mental well-being.

By sticking to a healthy lifestyle, she aims to stay well and live longer.

As the Invictus Games approach, all eyes will be on Military Amanda as she takes on her role as co-host alongside Prince Harry.

Her journey from military GP to ambassador showcases the resilience and determination that the games aim to inspire in all participants.
