Miley Cyrus Gets Spanked By Her Mother

Miley Cyrus is just like any other teenager when it comes to getting into trouble with her mother — sort of.

Tish, the singer’s mother, gave her a lighthearted scolding after the 17-year-old flaunted her knuckle-cracking habit in the makeup room before a concert in London.

Miley Cyrus is still a teenager, despite her mega-successful career and multi-million dollar bank account.

“My mom just hit me. I’m going to turn you in to child services,” Miley quips in a video clip from her Can’t Be Tamed DVD, after her mom slaps her on the hand en then spanks her twice.

    Cyrus then triggers yet another spanking when she jokes that she wishes her mom would glue her mouth shut, and swiftly flees to the corner of the room, leaving a startled Tish desperately searching for a comb.

    “No, no, no. Ahhh, no! I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!” Cyrus shrieks as her mother swats her a few more times with her hand.

    “Do it again,” Cyrus says when her mom stops. “Just kidding.”

    Miley acknowledged last year that she was spanked by her parents, Billy Ray and Tish, when she was a child.

    On the JohnJay and Rich radio show, she said, “I think I’ve gotten a wooden spoon, like, twice.”

    Tish is involved in many of her daughter’s professional decisions, co-managing and producing many of them.

    Cyrus was embroiled in controversy in 2008 after she posed semi-naked for Vanity Fair cover photographer Annie Leibovitz.

    Some parents were outraged by the image, which was described by a Disney spokesman as “A situation [that] was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.’

    Cyrus subsequently released a statement of apology: ‘I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.’

    Miley’s father spoke out after photos of her performing a lap dance to 44-year-old director Adam Shankman at a wrap party for her film The Last Dance sparked more uproar.

    ‘It’s what people her age do,’ Billy Ray, 48, told TMZ in the United States, adding that his daughter was ‘just having fun.’
