King Charles Awaits Positive Change from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The relationship between King Charles and his younger son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, has been on shaky ground for some time.
However, the monarch hopes to mend fences with the couple, but only if he sees positive change on their end.
This was revealed by a source who spoke to Us Weekly.
The relationship between the monarch and the Sussex family took a hit after the publication of Harry’s memoir, Spare, which was released in January this year.
The source said that Charles’s trust has been compromised since then.

Although the monarch loves his son, he is not eager to see him and Markle until there is some positive change from their end.
The absence of Harry and Meghan from Trooping the Colour on June 17, the monarch’s annual Christmas procession, and Charles’s first in the role, raised eyebrows.
According to a source, the feeling among the royals is that if the Sussexes were present, it would have diverted attention away from the event, which is an important one for the entire nation.
The Mirror reports that the monarch is open to resolving the rift with Harry and will welcome both him and Meghan back into the royal family.
In a recent episode of the Daily Express Royal Roundup, reporter Richard Palmer said, “I’m sure the king would welcome them back.
He’s very eager to heal the family rift.
But it’s clearly very raw right now, and he is very notable.”
While Charles is anxious to heal the rift, he did not see Harry the last time he visited the UK.
Harry was in his native country for court hearings in a case he brought against the Mirror Group newspapers.
It remains unclear what positive change the monarch is waiting for from Harry and Meghan.
However, the source who spoke to Us Weekly said that Charles wants to avoid them until he sees some positive change from their end.
The relationship between the monarch and the Sussex family appeared to be on a more solid footing at the time of the monarch’s coronation on May 6.
However, Harry and Meghan’s absence from Trooping the Colour raised questions about the state of their relationship.
The monarch loves his son, but relations with the Sussex family remain strained, according to Us Weekly.
