Kim Kardashian West is being grilled like she’s never been before!

The reality star/beauty mogul, who was interviewed by her husband, Kanye West, for her first Vogue Arabia cover story, opened up about being “embarrassingly obsessed” with fame and money early in her career.

“Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like, embarrassingly obsessed,” Kardashian West stated. “I do agree that fame can be addictive. But now, my focus has shifted.”

Kardashian West rose to fame in 2007 as the star of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” a famous reality program that will be in its 17th season next month. And she wouldn’t have it any other way, despite the fact that the mother of four “wish I could have more privacy at times.”

“Even in my darkest of times, I don’t regret putting myself out there for the world to see,” the 38-year-old said. “People have shared with me over the years how much it has helped them to feel less alone when dealing with their own adversity. I love having a voice and I appreciate the platform that I have been given, even though I do wish I could have more privacy at times.”

Despite what some may think, she insists that she is not spending the money on the legal degree she is working on. “There is a misconception that I don’t actually have to study and that I’ve bought my way into getting a law degree–that’s absolutely not true… Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe.”

Her four children also helped her recognize the value of being a role model for others, according to the mother of four.

“I never felt the responsibility of being a role model until I had kids,” she remarked. “I try to be a good person and to take my mistakes and make them into a better experience — to learn and grow from them and move on.”

Now, as she prepares to take the bar exam in 2022, Kardashian West is putting all of her work on prison reform, with the ultimate goal of making criminal justice her life’s mission.

During an episode of KUWTK, she noted, “My dad always taught me that hard work is really important and to really commit to things. So my goal would be in like, 10 years, to give up being Kim K and just focus on this and be an attorney and fight for so many deserving people.”

Finally, Kanye stirred the water and asked Kim to choose her favorite Kardashian-Jenner sister.

“It changes, just like friends or relationships go in and out,” Kim explained, “I think this year has been a really strong Kim and Khloe year. I’m obviously so close with Kendall and Kylie too but I’ve spent so much more time on this earth with Kourtney and Khloe—16 and 17 years longer with them. We have more history, have been through so much together, and we have more friends in common. Kourtney and I will always be really close, but this year, Khloe and I really bonded.”
