Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte Share Sweet Moment at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Coronation
Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte were the ultimate mother-daughter duo at the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.
The event was especially significant for the Wales family, as Prince William is heir to the throne and Prince George is second in line.
The unofficial Royal Family Channel shared a snippet of the ceremony on Twitter, showing Kate and Charlotte catching each other’s eye while singing.
Seeing her daughter instantly brought a smile to Kate’s face, and Charlotte grinned back before both turned back to their songbooks.
The pair were also in sync with their coronation style, wearing ivory silk crepe dresses by Alexander McQueen and striking silver headpieces from the Fashion House and Jess Collette.

During the ceremony, Prince Louis was briefly out of his seat, likely due to his age.
However, he returned in time to exit the abbey with his parents and sister, and seemed to enjoy the horse-drawn carriage ride back to Buckingham Palace.
Before Prince George’s prominent role in the coronation, Prince William and Kate took time to consider the pressure it might put on their son’s shoulders.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said, “We’re all very excited about Prince George’s role in the coronation, it will be an incredibly special moment.”
The royal couple is mindful that normal life resumes when George is back at school, where the coronation will likely be the talk of his classmates.
“It’s something that his parents have thought long and hard about and are very much looking forward to, and I’m sure George is too,” a spokesperson for the Prince and Princess of Wales told People before the big day.
At the coronation, Prince William knelt before the Sovereign to pay homage, while Prince George adorably served as a page of honor to support his grandfather.
The two-hour ceremony was a tight coronation team effort for Kate and Charlotte, who shared a sweet moment during the event.
The mother-daughter duo’s bond was evident as they sang and stood together, with Charlotte stealing the show with her adorable grin.
