This week, we discovered something new about Kaley Cuoco. She Googles herself.

During a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Cuoco discussed the recent nude photo release, calling it “disturbing.” The star of “The Big Bang Theory” was one of the celebrities whose accounts were hacked a few weeks ago, resulting in nude images of her emerging on the internet.

Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Kate Upton, and Kaley Cuoco were among the celebrities whose nude images were stolen earlier this month as a result of a large iCloud breach.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting may be a new member of the short hair, don’t care club, but she cares enough about her own name to have a Google alert set up for it.

She revealed how she found out she was a victim of the celebrity nude picture hacking scam during Labor Day weekend.

“I totally have Google alerts that come to my phone, so anything that my name pops up it comes to my phone because I’m, like, obsessed. I need to know what’s going on,” she said. “So every day, every day there’s like 30 ‘Kaley Cuoco nude photos’ [alerts]. It’s been going on for years. There’s all these fakes ones. So then this one came up and I was like, ‘Oh, it’s another fake one.’ And then I started getting emails about real ones going around and I looked at it and I was like, ‘Oh my god, there are some real ones.”

“I was one of the people who got hacked. It was disturbing!” Cuoco admitted.

Cuoco claims she “sent an email out to my family.” right away.

“I said, ‘Just so you know, this happened, blah, blah, blah. P.S. I’m not pregnant, I’m not getting a divorce — I was able to get everything out in the email,” she joked.

“It was a really bad situation,” Cuoco says, but she decided to “take it into my own hands and made a joke about it, because what else are you going to do?”

Cuoco told Kimmel, “You have to make fun of yourself.”

Rather than openly threatening legal action, Cuoco-Sweeting devised a response with the aid of the show’s crew and the app Nudify, which can pixelate static images in the same way that video footage on shows like “Dating Naked” is pixelated. From the comfort of their own phone, ordinary people can blur with the best of them.

As the cast rallied around her, Kunal Nayyar chose a paparazzi photo of his costar and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, walking on a Mexican beach, which became the blurred image that circulated in the days following the leak.

“My favorite app is called nudify and it is hilarious, and you can blur stuff out. I was actually shooting a scene for “Big Bang” and I was with all the guys and it was the day after this whole nude leak happened.”

“Were shooting in between takes and they’re helping me pick out the picture and what I should nudify so I could, like, get ’em [the hackers] back.”

“What a fun day that was, frolicking with my hubs on the beaches of Mexico! Feels like we forgot something?” the blond wrote on Instagram.

The image is made much better by Cuoco-Sweeting’s bikini straps popping out around the “naked” blurring.

Other hacked celebs aren’t laughing off the photo controversy.

The FBI is “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is currently addressing the matter.”

Jennifer Lawrence’s representative issued the following statement: “This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”

Kate Upton’s representative responded similarly, calling it “an outrageous violation of Upton’s privacy” and threatening to “to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.”
