Jennifer Lawrence has had a rough week, what with all the naked photo leaks, but she has some good news as well: she has been crowned the top earning action movie heroine in the 2015 Guinness World Records book.

The Hunger Games franchise has grossed over $1.52 billion worldwide, with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire bringing in $854 million in 2013. This remarkable amount also makes the sequel the year’s highest-grossing post-apocalyptic film.

Jennifer Lawrence is an Oscar-winning actress and one of the most gorgeous ladies on the planet.

Winter’s Bone, a 2010 drama, was the actor’s first leading role. She has subsequently gone on to feature in a number of blockbuster films, including X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and American Hustle. Her performance in David O Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook earned her the Best Actress prize at the 2013 Academy Awards. Serena, in which she reunites with old Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper, will premiere at the London Film Festival (LFF) in October.

Lawrence isn’t the only one admitted into the Guinness Book of World Records: One Direction was the first British boyband to top the US charts with three straight albums, and singer Miley Cyrus holds the title for most searched-for popstar on the internet.

Game of Thrones, HBO’s fantasy drama series, is something to be proud of. With 5.9 million downloads each episode, it was crowned the most pirated television show!

With the release of Mocking Jay Part 1, the first installment of the last and final Hunger Games, in November, that astounding figure is expected to quadruple, making it much simpler for the beauty to keep her title.

In Suzanne Collins’ popular novel series, Katniss becomes a symbol of resistance to dystopian oppression in the fictitious nation of Panem.

Despite Katniss’ success, Lawrence came in second to Sandra Bullock on Forbes’ list of the highest-paid Hollywood actresses.

Gravity, which grossed $715 million worldwide and won seven Academy Awards, is primarily responsible for Bullock’s projected earnings of $51 million in the previous year.

Frozen, unsurprisingly, was the highest-grossing animated film at the box office. To date, the Disney picture has grossed $1.13 billion worldwide, and fans aren’t about to let go anytime soon.

Lawrence’s name will appear in the Guinness World Records book, which will be released on September 11th.

Lawrence was named the second best paid actor, earning $34 million, although women in Hollywood still earn less than males.

The amazing achievement will be a pleasant distraction for the actress, who was recently a victim of the nude celebrity hacking incident, along with female stars Victoria Justice, Jill Scott, and Kate Upton.

Scores of pictures purportedly taken from their iCloud accounts were published online as a result of the privacy breach.

Lawrence’s counsel issued a statement saying, “This is a flagrant violation of privacy.”

“The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”

Shakira won two honors: most liked person and first person to reach 100 million Facebook likes.

The topic of powerful Hollywood women has recently sparked heated debate. During her Best Actress victory speech at the 2013 Oscars, Cate Blanchett addressed the topic, saying that some people are still “foolishly clinging to the idea that female films with women at the centre are niche experiences”.

“They are not,” she said to cheers. “Audiences want to see them and, in fact, they earn money. The world is round, people.”

The top ten most financially successful actors earned a total of $419 million, while the top ten most financially successful actresses earned little over half of that at $226 million.
